| leanne New Member Los 1 Posts 9/00 |  Posted - Sep 17 2000 : 3:10PMi have a DVD player attached to my harddrive and want to play a copy of '2001, a space oddysey' ..but i can't because i went to stick it in and the message 'Another Application is preventing DVD playback' shows up. curiously i take the disc out and try to start the DVD player on its own and it says the same thing. i've tried to restart and shutdown--the whole lot, and nothings happening.. anyone know what i can do to cure this? thank you very much.
