I noticed when I played them in my DVD Rom they would freeze at certain locations and then boot me out of my DVD playing programs altogether. But when I played them in my DVD player on my TV, they played fine. Is this normal? The movies are from Titan Media and I'm just curious if this is something that usually happens sometimes? Dell support wouldn't get me very far on the matter. I need to try other DVDs but it's like, I wonder if it's Titan's DVDs or if it's my player. Like I said, they play fine in my DVD player on my TV. but my TV DVD player doesn't have surround sound so it's not worth watching much. like as in, i hate it. plus it's smaller than my monitor and i have to place my DVD player in a funny way. Before you take it in for support you may want to try different Software Decoders. But i think it most likely is the Drive you can: 1. Since you bought a Named computer Take it to dell support and ask them to change the drive. 2. If it is out of Warrenty. Get a new DVD-rom drive. Since this is your main DVD watching Machine don't go cheap. Get a nice Brand from Creative. Or one of these OEMs Lite-On or Matsushita. [Link] |
