If it is deemed a "poll" question my apologies. I was wondering which format was better. I have a DVD+R/RW system on my home theater system and love it. However I have a friend who wants to get a dvd recorder as well and I didn't know what to tell him about the differences. I thought that DVD+R/RW systems allow you to easily add things to your recordings sush as chapter stops and such while DVD- didn't. I don't know for sure if there are any differences so anything will help before I go and tell him. Thanks. [Link] |

I've been quite happy with it. The discs played on the DVD players I've tried it on.I've never missed any feature of +R, but then I record everything to HD and then only transfer something to DVD if someone else wants to see it. That way any linking benefits +R may offer wont make any difference to me. For a PC burner however I'd recommend a dual-format one. [Link] |
