| Aeon New Member 3 Posts 6/05 | Hiya, not sure if this is the right forum, but here it goes Having gotten to the point where my collection exceeds over 100 DVD titles, I'm having a hard time finding just that particular scene with performer A in it, or just finding a scene I remember having seen once but having no clue whatsoever where to start looking. So I've been looking for a program, or perhaps PHP/mysql DB and script, that allows me to store the DVD titles as well as a (manually made) screenshot of the individuals scenes and linking performers to it. Basically I'd like to be able to search with different parameters, like search all scenes linked to a performer. This then should display the screenshots of each and every scene the performer is linked to. It's really just a relational database I'm looking for, where I enter all the data myself (title, screenshot scene A, performers scene A, screenshot scene B, performers scene B etc.) and by a means of a good search interface, can enter the parameters I want to filter. I tried excel and php/mysql before but I really don't have the patience to go through the whole learning process for just this one application. So hence this post, does anyone know of a program similar to this? or perhaps has made a php script himself that basically does the same as described above? Feedback much appreciated. [Link] |

Notice Walter Burns post Posted - Nov 13 2005 : 11:34:35 AM I don't know if he was joking or not. It might be worth asking him. I'm interested in the idea that you have, along with DVD databases too. So I'm wishing you good luck with it. Hope to hear more about it here. |
