has anyone used dvdsoon.com for imports of non-xxx dvd`s to UK?

do they declare the full customs duty?

Yes I use them a lot and yes they do declare the full value - ever since they were given a very severe warning by HMCE as to what might happen if they didn't.

can you recommend any other R1 retailers that are custom friendly?

dvdboxoffice.com and dv-depot.com are good but are a bit expensive when it comes to box sets

I've not used dvdboxoffice for sometime myself due to their high prices, however they do seem to be able to get those high value items delivered without problems.

Dvdpacific used to be very helpful on customs declarations until they too had the dreaded HMCE warning.

They only other outfit I might consider using is Movietyme - I don't quite know how they work it but all their stuff is posted from within the UK. However their customer service is nonexistent, and I would definitely use their recorded delivery option.

Just remembered CD-WOW are now customs friendly. Buy your high value boxsets or porn with confidence.

I've used DVDSoon a few times for mainstream movies and they have always been reliable, even though a little slow. However, I have yet to chance a XXX DVD order as they are based in Canada - sorry if this seems a little moronic.

Can anyone please clarify the situation with regard censorship in Canada, as it is a bit of a grey area for me?

I have read negative things about the Valentine releases of Evil Empire disks but the prices are very cheap - CAD$23.

If anyone could give some advice on the difference between US and CA releases, if there is any, it would be very much appreciated.
