I noticed that Pete was going to work with Steph to get adult titles listed. Perhaps that's why the site isn't working this morning?
Anyone else having problems with them?

Our ISP is doing some network reconfiguration , unfortunately with little warning beforehand. We have a new IP address and had to reconfigure the server. The site is up and running at [url=468336]206.132.143.32</A and will be back up at the normal address within a few days!

I'm surprised...I thought that Global Crossing was a decent ISP, not a fly-by-night operation. Reconfigurations without ample warning is a sure fire way of getting a bad rep in the service provider world...

Pete, thanks for the info. I always worry about problems accessing the list since it's an online deal. I tried to export a copy a week or so ago but it always timed out so I couldn't try and keep a local copy on my hard drive. Just let us know when all is back to normal.

Global Crossing? We're hosted at ECIS (East County Internet Services). We have a very good hosting deal, so I'm not too upset about the change. Besides, one of the DNS servers on the Internic record for DVD Tracker is one of their servers. I had them set up a DNS entry for dvdtracker.com and it looks like it'll hold us until all the changes go through. We have lots of people logged in right now.
FYI, we have offsite backups done daily and several on-site backups done during the day. I'd be pissed too if I lost my entire DVD list.

Ah, my bad....I didn't realize that you were using a tier 2 or 3 ISP. Global Crossing is the upstream ISP for ECIS. That makes more sense, since I'd be surprised if Global Crossing's hosting service would have made such a change on short notice.
It's a relief that you haven't gone anywhere. My DNS server is still showing 207.201.2.X as the IP for DVD Tracker, so it'll probably be a little while before the new IP propagates. Thanks for the update and also for sending out the e-mail to the mailing list.
