I just got back from the show on Fri night... I had a really good time... and I was also very happy to see Steph there... we both were at a few parties.. it was fun.. we had a great time.. and Steph... you are absolutely adorable... it was great seeing you... I had fun at the show.. and at the parties.. I did more than I thought I would.. not to mention I actually got laid... and not by Eric... I'll have to tell you about it later... having fun now having sex with Eric and telling him all about it... Talk to you guys soon... You either need space on the server at ADT, or you need to have another server which has an open access (no password, etc) space where you can put it, and link to it.
(I'm sure that Steph will give you ADT server space if you want it. But be warned, the process of getting the upload and addressing done right takes some trial and error the first time. You've got to download some (free) FTP software, etc.) As far as the coding for a link to the picture in this forum goes, you can find that under "Add Urls" which you'll see after you click on adding a new post. You do popins a little differently, like this: {img}*{/img} Where you replace the * with the full url, and the {} with square brackets [.
If you want to do it easily, without the hastle just now of getting the uploading down, I'd LOVE to be of service to you in that little way Wendy. Just email the pics to me, I'll lickedy split upload them to my space at ADT, and post them as either popins here, or as pics to link to here, whichever you want. In fact ANY time you have some pics you want to popin here I'd be more than happy to do that. I've got the process down to fast and easy. Just send them to me attacked to an email and tell me the thread you want them in as links or popins.
I would've gone, I wanted to go, but I had to go to school during the days of the show. It sounds like I would've had more fun there than listening to some boring professors!

I had been scheduled to go for Evil Angel, but on Sunday after we started bombing Afghanistan, John and I talked to the female sales rep who supposed to go with me. (John was going to stay at home with the baby and editing.) We came to the difficult decision that we needed to cancel our presence at the show. Not because we were too concerned that our plane might get hijacked or something, but because I didn't want to travel that far away from my family and take the chance that the airports might get closed again.
Believe me, having John tell me that he rather I not go than take the chance of losing me is something I'll cherish forever.
That being said, I HAD been excited about going and just kind of relaxing for a few days.
As per the talk on fidelity.. I am right there with you.. I never lied about what I said... but, like I might have said... and if I didn't then here it is... things change.. and that is ok.. Basically, Eric was interested in me "being bad" while I was gone. He wanted me to come home and tell him about everything while we were "being bad" ourselves. We've talked about this for a while... and I've always had a hard time with it.. mostly cause I'm very shy... and I also am so devoted to Eric. I don't need, want, or care about anyone else. But, I do care more about Eric than anything in the world. I would do anything to make him happy .. which in return would make me happy.. so even if the experience isn't that great exactly.. (it can never live up to my husband) I can still come home and use it here to have a great time with him. Oh, and it worked.. we were up til about 12 in the afternoon from the night before.. "being bad". We take our time together seriously... Either way... it took me the whole trip before I did anything.. and it was the night before I left to come home.. at the last minute basically.. I wasn't going to do anything at all... and then I went to a party.. saw some people that I had been talking to most of the week.. and well.. I started to think about Eric at home.. and what it would be like to surprise him with it.. I called to make sure.. and he was quite happy.. I wont give you the details about our conversation.. but, it was great.. But, to be honest .. I had a million times more fun when I got home to tell him about it.. than when I was there.. it was fun to do something like that for him.. not sure if I'll do it again.. but, at least I did it once.. Oh, and I'm still an angel... I think I actually got brownie points too.. at least that is the impression I got during our "session". My biggest point is... I did it for love.. as odd as that might sound... and I was quite happy with the results when I got home. The show was small... I had fun... of course.. I was happy to see some familiar faces that I see each year.. gave them a few good photos.. went to a few parties.. had my little adventure.. and best of all.. came home.. and told Eric all about it.. take care... hope this made sense ... talk to you soon

Hey Wendy - it was great to meet you, especially at such a small show. Parties? what parties? you must have me mistaken for my evil twin I'll post the great pics I took of you soon.
Tricia - I understand why you didn't go, but I would have liked to see you. The whole show was mellow enough that people could actually have a conversation. What a concept.
BIGmike - even though it's really a "trade" show, it's probably the best one to get up close and personal with a great group of stars.
My story and photos coming soon... took me a couple days to recover from staying up until 4am. I'm just not used to partying all night.

Now I'm a little more bummed I didn't go. I would have been signing at the General Video Mid-Atlantic booth where Wendy was. I haven't met her yet. Oh well, CES isn't that far off.

dex - i did research who was who and intended to label each photo, but i just have too much to do right now. i will try to get it done later.
i use a kodak dc215, but i'm going to buy a new camera soon. the kodak is alright with indoor people pictures, but it sucks with landscape photos and has no manual options. i'm looking at some of the nikon coolpix models.
it was a really great show for picture taking since it wasn't crowded and i could actually get some stars to pose. at the vegas show i often just reach the camera above the crowds and randomly snap pics. thankfully compact flash is cheap these days so i can take endless pics.

Steph- I know the Vegas show can get crazy. I think this year they're doing some business-only hours again. I'd be glad to get you 2 business passes so you and Drew can come in before all the other fans. It's MUCH less crowded during the business hours, and most of us girls are so attention-hungry that we're thrilled to talk and pose for pictures for anyone. (We just get a little cranky when it gets pushy during the open hours!!)

dexplorer OK OK... you don't have to twist my arm.. I guess I can tell you a little about what happened.. basically, I was signing at General Video.. and across the way.. there were a few people that I spoke with during the show. Well I saw them at the hotel a few times.. and they invited me just about every day to do something. Which was nice.. two of them.. if not all of them were related. I spoke mostly with two cousins. Both of these guys were really nice and finally the last day I was there.. we all went to a party together... G go figure.. I was thinking about Eric.. and what he said.. (I know sweet huh) so .. I just got cozy with one of them. We left the party.. went to his room.. it had a hottub.. yayaya.. and of course we got in.. I mean.. just good clean fun right.. .. so.. well ok.. it was him and his cousin... but, still it was just ... well anyway, .. after a while.. and a few bottles of Asti.. (thanks to the butler).. we were quite merry.. I managed to kick one out so I could get a little closer to the other.. .. well we "played" for a few minutes till we were interrupted by one of the other guys.. at which point I got up and left the room for a minute.. when I came back.. it was the other cousin.. well.. seeing as how the other one got away.. well ok.. I guess I can talk to this one.. ya know.. just being a nice good girl.. ... well.. within a few short minutes.. once again.. we were interrupted.. only this time it was because of the racket in the living room.. so.. well.. ok.. nothing was accomplished to a great degree.. but, at least I had a little fun trying.. Either way... the night was entertaining. To say the least. I had a story to tell.. which was good for me..especially when I got home but, still... I know I didn't give a lot of detail.. I'm just really shy.. I know hard to believe.. but, it's true.. ... hope this adds to your enthusiasm for the parties and shows.. I'll try to get a better story next time...
I'll just let my imagination fill in some details.
I'll tell you though, I sure as hell wouldn't have "gotten away" at that point. Whatever was "accomplished" to that point or not. I tend to, aaaahhh, FOCUS.
