Others are trying but none can match them... I just realized that the above movie is just a re-release of [ invalid url ] from Combat Zone. Edited by - rlankford on Jul 22 2010
Oh they tricked me. I saw it the other day at a site and thought it was an Elegant Angel movie.

Lots of porn producers seem to copy whatever works from one another. Why should a boxcover be any different. Without beating the dead horse, this all goes back to the debate about what's causing the death of porn.
I agree. I hate when people do this. I tried to look up who owned this line thinking maybe they are somehow related to Elegant Angel but it doesn't seem that is the case.
Well, most of the porn business is about copying what sells anyway, isn't it? Not saying this is the way it should be but if you don't have something original, the best you can do is copy someone who does.
I was more shocked to learn that Cherry Boxxx is still in business. But their business is obviously still the same: attempting to dupe consumers into purchasing their second-rate product. A single look at the cast tells you this is a compilation of canned scenes. [Link]

sums up much of business in general. Remember "Coming To America" where the dad of the girl Eddie Murphy's character wanted to marry had a knock off of McDonald's called "McDowell's".
Look... me and the McDonald's people got this little misunderstanding. See, they're McDonald's... I'm McDowell's. They got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs. They got the Big Mac, I got the Big Mick. We both got two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions, but their buns have sesame seeds. My buns have no seeds.
Algaliarept there was also a case in the UK involving a tiny Hair Salon that was called Hairrods, the sign was in the colors and style of the posh store Harrods in London that is owned by Mohamed Al-Fayed.The Salon was made to take down the sign and use another name for trading.

This. My first adult dvd, hell maybe dvd period, was from Cherry Boxxx and it was a horrible experience. I swore to never buy from them again. So this blatant attempt to fool me into thinking at a glance I was getting something from my favorite studio Elegant Angel, is just straight up bullshit.
I was thinking of starting up a clothing alteration business called 'Hem-roids' butt was scared I would be sued by anuice who are a pain in the ass...Very poor I know.
Wow. That is a blatant rip-off. Personally, I think EA have the best cover designs in the biz - crisp, clean, the girls always look beautiful, and the box stands out on the shelf. In a word: classy. I'm not surprised some cheap studio tried to copycat. This is the same company being called out in the feature section.
While it's sad that the company's content in no way, shape, or form will come even close to Elegant's and lots and lots of uninformed consumers are gonna get burned. CherryBoxxx ain't sad! I can't believe it took this long for someone to knock off those covers.
Crack babies are sad. Tsunamis are sad. This is mildly amusing. Oh! And yet another reason you have to be a knowledgeable porn consumer. Any fan who follows the industry wouldn't touch CherryBoxxx with a ten-foot-pole. It's like Leisure Time. Ya just don't do it. Caveat emptor and all that jazz. I can see re-issuing scenes in a comp when the movie has been out awhile but wow this isn't that old of a movie. I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY surprised Combat Zone is doing this. That's not good for their rep and will only hurt their sales in the long run.
and that one actually has a director's credit, i'll be damned, this kind of thing is exactly why I wondered why their dvds never had a director's credit
