I can confirm that the EA website hasn't had an update since June 2016. What's worse is that within minutes of joining EA, through their proprietary biller 'psnbilling,' my credit card was hacked.
Buyer beware, indeed.

'Hacked' may not be the right term, but I hadn't used that card in several days and within minutes of entering it at psnbiller it was being used on the other side of the continent to buy motorcycle parts and cosmetics to the tune of $5,000. My bank's software picked up on it quickly and shut the card down and required that I destroy it and get a new one. It seems too coincidental to have had a different source.

^ Thanks for the heads up, I was considering joining their again. Won't be now, unless they take prepaid cards. Which I don't think they do.
