Not surprising IMO. The porn fan stereotype "OMG, OMG a naked woman, FapFapFapFapFapFapFap" does not apply to everyone. A hot girl is a hot girl, but a good porn scene needs more than that. A guy can make or break a scene. Same goes for the girl or the director. It's the combination of all those components. Of course only my opinion.
^I agree with that 100%. Chemistry is vitally important. But it seems like there's this obsession with James Deen. A couple posters make it a point to come on every time he's in a scene to say they won't watch it becasue of that. Yet, I can name 50 male performers off the top of my head that shouldn't even be in the industry yet these same posters say nothing about them. He's one of the best male performers out there and the girls love working with him.

Guess the dislike is mostly based on the Stoya situation. Besides that I am with jeffandersonn and MorganKaneHe has serious wood problems, but maybe that's why he is so popular among the girls. Having sex with a soft dick is easy money IMO. Anyway. I don't know anything about the "real" James Deen. I don't have any infos about the Stoya case. All I see is the "actor" James Deen. And the "actor" James Deen is half flacid in every scene. So he is not one of the best male performers out there IMO.
As far as my dislike for Deen goes...wood problems and he likes to hurt women. More generally speaking...I don't like how certain male talents treat female performers and some male talents just annoy me to the point where i just can't ignore it and enjoy the scene. Annoyed is not what I'm going for when I'm watching porn. If there are other male performers out there who hurts women, is too rough during scenes and/or does things during scenes that are beyond what girls are comfortable with or agreed to do then name and shame them. ^Didn't see it originally, sorry. First, I don't know what James Deen has done. No one does. Except the people that were there. Secondly, the statement was about male performers and their talents. Those two above claim that he has wood problems but I can think of 50 performers that are way lesser performers than him. Both those posters, if they can produce one post from over a year ago that says "I won't get a scene with James in it" to prove that their current stance is not about Stoya's post, I will apologize to them.

Okay, I understand now. Originally, I thought you were trying to say that there's a bunch of guys in the industry who've done, or have been acccused of doing, things that are just as bad, or worse, as what Deen's been accused of doing in the past.
Yeah, I can vouch for Instant as well. He has very exacting standards when it comes to male talent and has never been shy about saying when someone is a pass for him. And JackSparrow, maybe cool down a bit? A person saying that they will apologize if they are wrong is typically a sign of humility not that they have an inflated sense of self. That was a pretty bizarre interpretation of captain Jack's comments I feel. Anyway, all the Deen talk is overtaking a thread that's supposed to be focused on Elegant Angel's upcoming releases. The website was crap over the last few years and they have a lot of work to do to get back their reputation. I'm seeing a lot of new releases from them on DVD pop up but they all seem to be directed by Pat Myne. They need to hire a buzz worthy director and do something to make fans realize they are committed to being a top notch company once again. The problem with Pat Myne is that almost all their titles were under his name during the drop off so even if there is improvement how are fans going to know what to expect at this point?

Is AcidReign saying you can build a great site in one day? Watched Battle of the Asses on adultempire.com. Good scenes all around but the repeated use of music and Alexis being in Mia and Abella's tease scenes but not their actual scenes was kinda odd. Loved the tease though and the Alexis/Mick Blue and Mia and Jada/Alexis/someguy are all good scenes. Abella isn't too bad at all either, loved her tease too.
I realize that building a new site takes time. However, I think what bothers us is that we have paid for our memberships, and we are not being allowed access to new titles. I know that in my situation, I went ahead and paid for a 1 year subscription right before the scene updates ceased. The same thing happened to me the previous time that Elegant Angel ceased to exist. I bought a new subscription under the assumption that the site would continue to update regularly as it was at the time. I pay for the porn I want to watch and I don't visit tube sites. So, as an avid suppporter of the industry, now I am being given the short end of the stick so to speak when it comes to access to new content. I definitely feel burned and downright upset. Especially since this is the second time. Now I am now being told to go to ADE and buy scenes that I feel I have already paid for access too. I simply won't do it. Elegant was my favorite studio for years, and I have been a loyal fan and customer. I feel that the least Elegant could do, is continue to post new scenes in the members area while the new site is being built. Those of us who choose to do the right thing by paying for our porn, should have access to what we thought we were paying for.
^ Great post! I would love to join but I am hesitant even when the new website goes up because I can't depend on EA to consistently update. I was one of those members that was disappointed the first time it happened. Now it is happening again. If the website deal was so bad, why wasn't the website changed a long time ago?
