I have always considered her to be very stable and strong-willed and I am surprised to hear about her drug problems in this context. This is very shocking. I hope the best for Emily. You can do it!

Hope she recovers. You forget what a cesspool social media can be. I don't know how you can whack it to pornstars' videos every day and still look down on them and even make vile comments when something bad happens to them. The hypocrisy is insane.

I agree. This world is filled with hypocrites. Thats why this world is evil and at best is divided. This should be no question everyone sending love, support, and prayers for her. Its sad that many people would have more sympathy for animals than they would humans. Have compassion for what Emily loved ones are going through and hope that she fully recover. At the very least, think about "it could be me" before looking down on someone in their time of need. Unless you dont care about yourself and dont mind people treating you the same way if you was in the same situation. Then that would just render you as a useless human.

Wishing Emily a speedy recovery, she's still very young and hopefully she can get back on track. Substance abuse is all over our society with powerful and addictive drugs available everywhere, from high schools to downtown cores to corporate America. The adult industry is no different.
A very scary thing about the overdose crisis in the US right now is that it is happening not just to addicts but also to casual users and experimenters, all because so many illicit drugs - be it cocaine or heroin or counterfeit opiod pills - are cut with fentanyl, which is an extraordinarily powerful killer. It's happening throughout the country - a clean living 16-year old decides to experiment and easily finds what he thinks is a legitimate pain pill, but boom, it has a touch of fentanyl in it and he's dead. I only bring this up because let's not categorize Emily as an "addict" or a habitual user with a substance abuse problem. She may in fact be one of countless casual users who is paying a stiff price. Hoping for a nice recovery for Emily. *edit: well, if she was in a substance abuse program, she does in fact have a problem. But my comment that the overdose crisis is impacting more than just those people who have substance abuse problems still stands.*
Have to chime in because this is a great point. It's bad enough that most of the MDMA is cut with meth, but fentanyl is a whole other level and a good reason to avoid drugs right now. It's really bad and this may not be Emily's fault if she's just a recreational user.
One other notable tidbit -- Emily was actually transported from a well-known celeb rehab location in Malibu ... where she appears to have been receiving treatment for addiction.
This part of the article possibly shows us it maybe wasn't just 'recreational' use.
No update or reassuring social media post from her or anyone else in the industry is a little concerning.
I've seen a few stories recently about Nitazene - which is an opioid worse than fentanyl. Scary stuff - especially if the people taking it think they are taking something else.
We need to keep bearing in mind though that we don't really know any proper details of this tragic story yet though - what the drugs were and why they were taken.
I first read about Nitazene today, on Facebook. It may be even more scary than fentanyl. (I have two sons, aged 15 and 13, and I've been having a lot of discussions with them of late of the dangers of drugs right now).
Does anyone have a source that states it was Nitazene? Because too much stuff has had to be taken down that wasn't true and if you've posted something unverified you need to take it down.
We weren't saying or implying in the last four or five posts that Emily OD'd on Nitazene. Rather, her assumed OD - on whatever she OD'd on - led a couple of us to briefly comment on how fentanyl and nitazene are large factors in the U.S.'s overdose crisis.
This news really made me sad and i truly hope she recovers.
I really like Emily. so much so that if i ever have a daughter i'd partially name her after her (and partially after other interest of mine that i won't get into) I feel she's something special and i feel deep parasocial love towards her. A part of her soul lives in my heart. I know i sound like a simp, but i'm sure we all have the top 1% of pornstars that make us feel something beyond just lust. I had no idea about her drug problem. I wish her all the best i hope she gets a second chance at life.

I am so tired of this bullshit narrative that somehow no-one could possibly want to be in porn, that most popular pornstars were all 'forced' into it through human trafficking. Does human trafficking happen? Yes, is it terrible and do I feel sorry for the victims? Absolutely but alot of adult performers have serious mental health struggles from the stigma, certain hateful fans, stalkers, difficult family situations etc. I am not claiming to know Emily's story but I'm usually pretty good at reading people. I've seen at least one interview of her and I've watched her body language in her scenes, much like Riley Reid - I don't get overwhelming trauma vibes from her. Or the feeling that she would be in porn against her will. With regards to her popularity: Karlie Montana, Samantha Ryan, Anikka Albrite, Samantha Rone all have over 400 scenes but you don't hear a peep from them. Despite a lengthy body of work, they have successfully stepped right back into civilian lives so the idea that somehow Emily could not do the same is a bit insulting.

No one and I mean no one, in this thread knows what EXACTLY happened with Emily and what the reasons were.
All this endless speculation is disrespectful to Emily.
Keep your bullshit speculation to yourselves. This isn't the place for it.
I just want to send all the love to Emily. She's a warrior and I know she'll pull through.
I also just want to point out that she was seemingly doing well in her transition to mainstream acting. She had a major role in the Steven Soderbergh produced Divinity that came out last year. She said on a recent podcast that she has 2 more horror movies lined up. While it's understandable that people want to look at her time in porn as playing a role in whatever happened here, it wasn't at the center of her life like it was 3 years ago.
I hope when she's discharged from the hospital she goes home with her parents for a while: 1. She should get away from the glare of the public eye so she can focus on her recovery 2. Get away from the all the drug temptations that LA has to offer and let's be real here: la is a cesspool of drugs.

I know this is a bit late (and I'm glad to read that she is on her way to recovery) but just sending all my thoughts and love to Emily and her family and friends. I wish her a full physical and mental recovery and that she gets help with any issues or addictions that she may have.
Your previous post was already highly disrespectful to a hurt, poor girl. Then someone called you out for it and you just push it further.
Please, the next time your glass sphere tells you in advance - and not in hindsight - a girl is hurt and in danger > act upfront - instead of sharing your prophecies afterwards.

All the best to her. She's amazing and i hope she surrounds herself with good people. Before this happened i always hoped for her return to porn, but i understand that now that's not an option. Her well being comes first.
1. I wasn't intending to be disrespectful, just pointing out the damage the industry does to these performers. 2. It took me 8 days because I was absent from this site since. Coming off it for a while can be therapeutic.
