Mostly, I do this to convert frame rates to 29.97 fps so that my Roku can play the scenes properly. But, for Brazzers, I re-encode them to reduce the file size, which is important because Brazzers scenes are often unreasonably large. Handbrake recently released an update and now when I try to re-encode using the same options as before, my destination file ends up having no audio track. I'm wondering if someone on here that is familiar with Handbrake and is using the new update could share their settings and/or explain what the heck could be going on. [Link] |

I suggest that if you haven't tried it on the old version, try it on 0.9.x then try and transcode it on upgraded Handbrake version of 0.10. This can rule out the media and brake it down to either a bug in Handbrake 0.10 (which would be a huge one) or an interface thing you are missing. Sorry I can't help anymore, but not sure if 0.10 has interface or operational changes compared to 0.9. PS Are you making sure you are using the same codec (I heard 0.10 version supports the x265) and commands/parameters that you used in 0.9? |
