I saw a picture of the box cover in one of the AVN weekend photos but couldn't make out any of the girls on the box. I'm really hoping this has the return of Shyla Stylez in it and it makes sense that it would being that Shyla is Canadian. If anyone has any details on the cast please post here. Thanks! [Link]

Click to expand Sounds funny, though I never actually bothered to watch the movie since it looked exactly like every other RLD release on the market and I wasn't exactly impressed by the cast list. However, I am now considering maybe getting it the next time I go to the store if only to see what you mentioned. As for "Canadian Beaver," I called the store I go to today to find out if it came in yet. They usually carry all of Evil Angel's movies, but for some strange reason, they haven't gotten either "Canadian Beaver" or "Nacho Rides Again" into their inventory yet. The assistant manager told me that the only copy of "Canadian Beaver" that they had was on special order for another customer who ordered it for purchase. She told me they should be getting another store copy in with their next shipment. Hopefully, it will be in on Friday which is when they get their next delivery. [Link]

Click to expand Obviously, Evil Angel has the right to decide how it prices its products at the wholesale level, but I don't think you can say definitively that retail prices never drop to the level I stated in my post. As far as I know, Evil Angel doesn't directly control how individual retailers price the products that they sell. I mostly buy through AdultDVDMarketplace.com. Many of the Evil Angel titles that I own were purchased used in "like new" condition through sellers on that site. However, I have purchased brand new Evil Angel DVD's from sellers there as well. To be fair, those are typically at least a year old, but if you wait long enough, those types of bargains do come around. I bought the latest Ass Worship (#8?) brand new for about $18.00. [Link]

AdultDVD Marketplace is used DVDs, so there is no problem. You're simply waiting until someone else has purchased the DVD new, they're done with it, and selling it at a 'like new' price. There is nothing at all wrong with that. I myself buy tons of mainstream DVDs for $9.99 and $14.99 in the used bins at Blockbuster. I am, however concerned that there is a seller who sold Ass Worship 8 'brand new' at $18.00. The way which we do control that new DVDs never go below a fixed price is by the prices which we sell to the distributors. We make an assumption that the seller will not want to sell the DVD at a price lower that what they bought it at. Evil Angel has NEVER sold Ass Worship 8 for a price of $18 or less to ANY buyer in the United States. Is it at all possible that you have bought a non-US version, such as a version from Canada? I'm really sorry to hassle you with these questions, but we take territory rights and of course piracy VERY seriously, and any leads that we get to lead us to either of those in bulk are very important to us. (as an example, we are in a lawsuit right now for hundred of thousands of dollars with a company over territory rights, and another company for millions of dollars over piracy) Thanks for your help. However, several months ago I purchased Invasian brand new from a seller on that site for just under $18.00, and I know I've purchased a few others brand new from time to time for lower prices. And, like I said, these are normally titles that have been out for a while. Your assumption that sellers won't sell for less than the wholesale price is reasonable, but not completely valid. It helps that Evil Angel puts out a consistently good product, which encourages consumer loyalty and supports the higher price point. But, inventory sitting on a shelf doesn't pay the bills. Retailers have been known to overbuy, and when that happens, they eventually need to turn that inventory into cash, even if they take a marginal loss. The fact that $18.00 is a bargain is a testament to the strength of the Evil Angel/Jules Jordan brand and reputation for quality. [Link]

For the most part, the sellers I purchase from, when they say "like new", they really mean it, so it doesn't matter to me. My point was just to throw some feedback out there about what I think of Evil Angel price levels, especially in regards to Erik Everhard's products. Let me say it again more clearly: I will not pay a premium for EE's porn. Occasionally, I will pay a premium price for a Jules Jordan DVD. But not every time. [Link]

By the time I realized it was shot widescreen, the DVD was already 90% done. It will be widescreen letterbox. It's all good, it's Erik's first Evil Angel release, and the picture quality is still really good, and Erik is in the learning process of finding out what Evil Angel can do to take his movies (which are getting better and better) and make them even better overall products. Click to expand I've bought some Evil Angel titles for about $19.50 or so from one retailer in particular, not exactly brand new but then, not second hand. They have clearances, as I'm sure other retailers do, and so their discs end up cheaper. Mind you, when I got BEAUTIFUL GIRLS 18 off them, it was in their clearance section only two months after its release, and the copy is brand new as far as I can see, and not pirated, because it looks the same as all my other Evil Angel discs. And although I am based in Australia, I mail order all my porn from the US, because the quality of Evil Angel versions in this country are all sub-standard. [Link]
