| bacchus Member UK 25 Posts 1/04 | Hello peeps,
Anyway, I’ve been trying to get them to respond to emails concerning whether they have sent one such substitute title as they aren’t replying. Anyone else had this problem, and if you did have you any advice? Thx, Dave [Link] |

Other than on weekends, they have never taken more than 24 hours to reply to me. Are you sending your e-mails to customerservice@erovideo.nl? That's the e-mail address that has always worked well for me. |

My problem is that they aren't replying to email mid-thread, so yes I have been using the customerservice@erovideo.nl email. I've had no trouble previously getting replies from them and was really impressed by their service. They agreed to send two different titles as one title in each of two orders were not in stock (they were very helpful). One of the replacements arrived, but the second didn't. They subsequently said that this title also wasn't in stock and asked me to pick another. This title hasn't arrived and they aren't replying to emails about it. I found this odd given there previous prompt replies, plus their reputation here, hence my post. I think I will telephone them this afternoon. Dave |
| Gavin Member Snoozeville 7 Posts 1/04 | I've been ordering from Erodvd for the last year, and just lately I too have been having trouble reaching them via email. I placed an order at the beginning of December, and when I noticed my credit card had not been charged I contact Aline. I received a reply to that email, but all further replies were ignored. I ended up trying a different email address; my emails that were ignored were all from my hotmail account. Using my normal ISP provided email account brought about the usual quick response I have come to expect from Erodvd. Out of curiosity, were you using a hotmail account to contact them? Perhaps they have put in new spam filtering software that might be nuking people's emails? However, two orders in a row have been processed & order confirmations sent to me - only to find out weeks later (and only after I've sent emails asking about the orders) that the titles were out of stock. That's 5 DVDs in two orders that were out of stock... Does anyone else have such a bad run of stock with their DVDs? And all 5 titles were movies I was really looking forward to receiving! One of those titles was confirmed as permanently out of stock, yet it still appears on the website for sale... Cheers, |

I was somewhat surprised that Aline is a woman, with a nice voice and good English. <g> Looks like the email address I was using is not working, I think she was replying to my emails and probably getting very frustrated! She is going to look into the missing title and let me know tomorrow. I will provide an update to this thread once the issue has been resolved. Dave Edited by - bacchus on 1/19/2004 3:01:47 PM |
