Just got this morning the GGG DVD "Betty Extrem" from Erodvd.nl.

At my request (but maybe they routinely do that for "problematic" UK orders) they sent the CD in a plain, medium sized envellope, no return address, my address was written by hand.

Inside I found the cover, the DVD (no box), DVD was well protected in a thin padding material.

Excellent fast service and controversial stuff that slip through Customs unnoticed : BIG THANKS TO ERODVD.NL!!!!

I think they use that shipping method now since some UK orders had problems initially. I always make sure to specify shipping without the box during ordering, especially GGG titles.

Hope you enjoy Betty Extrem.

Joey could you help I used Erodvd for the first time two night's ago to order 110 cumshots voll 4 the price was 12 euro's that works out at about £7 not bad for a dvd, they seem to be very cheap can you tell me how fast they are and do they sent a email to say your film has been sent.

Thanks for the help.

I have used ero many times, but my last order (about 2 months ago for 3 dvds) never turned up! I have not told ero about it.
Theres only one bad thing about ero, and thats there shipping method. Its obvoius that who ever nicked my parcel now knows whats inside other packages from ero as they all look the same, this also goes for customs.

Maybe its time for a change with there shipping methods e.g computer typed address lables, brown envellope`s, no return address etc.

Grant69uk,
On average the delivery time is about 1 to 1.5 weeks from posting and you do not get an email notification of mailing.

ant_si,
Sorry to hear about your lost order. My last order with Erodvd.nl arrived last week with the return address inside the envelope which is an improvement. I agree that a typed envelope/label would make the letter harder to recognise to a would-be thief.

Just to let you all know my dvd came on saturday so that was only 4 days, very fast the only problem was that the dvd looked second hand a lot of dirt and about 3 scratches on it. I had to give it a clean before it would stop skipping . It was in a plastic sleeve so I dont know how it got in such a state.

Is the erodvd.nl site secure ? I know they say that it is, but there is no padlock on the screen and the properties for the order form page say that it is not secure.

When I ordered from their website, I didn't give all my credit card number. I replaced one digit that appears several times with 'x' and then sent them an email saying which DVDs I had just ordered, the price and what 'x' is. They were quite happy about it.

I ordered up GGG Betty Extreme & a Power title from Erodvd.nl and these disks were confisicated by UK Customs.

Unforunately the notice is very unhelpful as it doesn't tell you what the problem with the disk was, beyond the generic description of "considered to be indecent or obscene"...

So beware disks do not always get through and you have little or no recourse with HM Customs.

hidden,
Sorry to hear about your order. Anything with pissing, fisting, animals etc fall into the obscene category and is liable to confiscation. Betty Extrem unfortunately falls into that category.

Do you know if the order was shipped with or without the boxes? It would be more helpful if erodvd/video could use a printed label instead of handwriting on the packages.

Just to let you folk know, after much emailing with erodvd.nl the disks finally arrived. I can't fault the customer service provided by this company, we agreed to half the costs of the resend since customs picked up the last set sent out.

Never had a problem with erodvd (Well once they did not deliver, turned out the post office returned it. The address looked correct.

Thanks for the warning on GGG, I have bought some 5 of them so far from erodvd. The last lot I ordered on Tuesday, arrived on Friday. No problems, except waiting for one DVD. (Not yet a week). The box for the twelve DVDs was not big enough, they said they mailed the last one separatly.

I have found Aline to be very responsive to emails, and we have had quite long running conversations. They do stock lots of other DVD's which are not on their web site. I know they have the complete Private catalogue.

Their web site is not secure. As far as I can see it just posts the credit details back with HTTP and not HTTPS.

I know this is an old thread but I must let others know especially Americans of my bad treatment and nightmare by this Company in the Netherlands called Erodvd.nl.I am a American living in California I came upon the Erodvd.nl by accident and was amazed at all the Hard Porn and I mean Hard Core Porn that you can not get here in the states. I made my choice of movies I wanted and I done it in the US dollar amount, thinking WOW great price. Well I got an email the next day saying that my order was completed and I assume it was shipped. It states on their website at least 1 week for delivery any where. Well after one week I noticed they charged me for the order 6 dollars more then what was totaled when I completed the order and $2.00 more for currency conversion, the $2.00 I did not care but the $ 6.00 I did. Well that was number one of this nightmare. Now it's been over 2 1/2 weeks and NO movies I had emailed them to let them know that I have not received my order. I have received only 1 email back from them saying "They will try to put a trace on it”, Which is probrobly BULL-SHIT. That Aline girl is the only one that understands English I guess but she's no big help at all. I notified my bank to stop payment and dispute the charge but they told me it was an out of this country transaction and I probrobly will not be able to get my money back. So I guess I got to grit my teeth and turn the page on this one and stay away from shysters like these. So I hope that any Americans that see this thread please stay away from this Erodvd.nl and shop some where else because they are just taking your money and laughing at you knowing that you can't do shit about it.

Big bump, you should have started a new thread...

I'm still a happy customer of Erodvd.nl.

I think you jumped the gun, and if you've been as agressive in your dealings with them as in this post, this is not very constructive. I find you can get much better results by being polite and patient.

Considering the shipping is free I don't expect too much for shipping times. For me in Australia it takes about 12 days for an order to arrive but can be up to three weeks sometimes more.

I would wait three to four weeks and then politely ask for them to resolve the problem if nothing showed up.

If they are then it's a change. I've dealt with Aline on numerous occasions and never been ripped off.

I've ordered from them 4 times and never had a single problem. Customs opened one of their packages once and I was amazed it wasn't seized. It was an MFX title. Nothing illegal of course.

Now i'm reluctant to order anything from them since they are the credit card processor for lovelot. I don't think this is true, but wish I knew.

My biggest complain is that not all of the titles they have are in stock. You have no way of knowing until they ship. It's never taken more than an extra week though.

Agree with Hardware, I also never had a problem doing business with them. Good and friendly store. But I live in Holland so shipping can't go wrong.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience, Ojibwas. It would have been better to start a new thread as this is an old one and also about UK customs re GGG movies from Erodvd. The subject of customs is pertinent, though - is it possible that customs would seize your order?

On a personal note, I can only agree with the comments by Joey and Hardware. I've always found Aline helpful and their service reliable, though sometimes slow to respond, and I would be surprised if the "rip-off" tag is warranted.

I should say that the wording of Erodvd's terms and conditions is a little loose, but they do guarantee delivery and I've always found that a little patience and politeness go a long way - I'd always advise against seeking a chargeback before you've fully explored all other possible ways of resolving a problem.

Regarding the currency issue, the discrepancy between the price and what you were charged can be down to your bank/credit card provider, and it's perfectly possible it's the bank that have charged you extra for the currency conversion - most likely EroDVD do not have the ability to process your payment in US dollars, and that the price on site, in any currency other than euro, is only a guide (Orgazmik, for example, are clear about this). I think they should be clearer on this issue on the site, and keep their rates up to date, as they appear low at a glance today.

That was the allegation made by SG Video some time ago - we don't know if that is still the case, nor, while I presume SG had good cause to make it, how accurate this allegation was at the time. As we're not in a position to verify this either way today, we have to make own judgement on that.

I did check it then, and when Christian from SG posted the info about who did the creditcardprocessing for Lovelot it was true. Haven't checked it lately though.
And Gabriel, if you email me I can give you some more info on it.

Anyone else get defective DVDs from Erodvd.nl?

I received in about 6 MFX titles from them. I was disgusted. They were all scratched, dirty and had some sort of manufacturing defect. Each and every one of them. I'm not going to complain to them, but the least they could do is visually inspect the discs before they go out.

It looks as if someone had used sandpaper on them, spilled water on them and let it dry. MFX titles are also NOT cheap! There is a weird square shape on the readable side and then lots of smudged spiral shapes. It's just so weird. I really wish I could have taken a scan of it. I've never received such crappy discs before. Somehow they played, but skipped during parts. I'll try to clean them.

In the last year i've never placed and order and received all my discs. 1-2 are usually back ordered, which isnt that big of a deal.

I've had defective discs from them before and not bothered telling them although they would have sorted it i'm sure.Mainly sineplex/sinsational and the odd anabolic title...i think in those cases it's the french euro releasing company that have sloppy manufacturing quality control..similar problems that you describe with your discs although with resulting pixelation on playback.I have noticed of late that they have switched to stocking the u.s releases of anabolic, sineplex, elegant angel etc instead of the euro one's..this is probably due to feedback from customers who have complained about euro versions. It is fair to say that discs from erodvd are rarely perfect...but they have excellent prices so ya pays your money and takes ur chance i guess, plus i usually pick stuff up from them at sale prices

I have got a few DVDs from erodvd.nl which had scratches on it, but I have also got DVDs which were shrinkwrapped. So, it might come from people outside erodvd.nl, like wholesalers, people from the studio or customers returning products. I agree with the point that they should check what they sell though.

The fact that porn DVDs are not always new may be something more frequent in some European stores. Sometimes, DVDs come with the wrapping still around the DVD but open... It can happen in the US, but less often. I have once had a Wicked DVD which the seal had been taken of and was scratched.

I've never had a problem with GGG's arriving from the Netherlands via Vidshop. I used to buy VHS' from an Austrian website and they always arrived in about 10 days without fail. I've noticed that for some reasons, Customs always make life difficult with anything from Erodvd.nl.

Just about every dvd I have received from Erodvd has been scratched and dirty. Luckily I have still been able to play them. The last title I got from them was Squirt In My Gape 2, a new release but it was still scratched and dirty. I'm beginning to suspect they have disgruntled workers in the shipping room who personally give each disk a nice rub against the floor!

Never had a problem with DVDs bought from Erovd.nl, I've bought many in the last six years or so and they were all in pristine condition.

If you get a defective one, then you should complain.

I have many problems with erodvd.

First, my requests of sending dvd + artwork only for more discreet shippings are never taken into account (even though they sometimes mention it in the confirmation message). From what I read in this thread, the irony is that they systematically do so for certain countries.
They should know that i would order much more often from them if they offered the guarantee of discreet shipping (a win-win situation after all...).

Second, more generally, they never reply when there is a problem: hope and pray you'll have no back-ordered item in your order, because :
-they bill you just the same
- if, for whatever reasons they never send the back-ordered titles and you inquire about it, there'll be no reply.

In a recent order (2 months ago), they sent a wrong item: I e-mailed them about the problem. No reply.

I just received another order: 1 dvd can't play at all. Not their falut, but my expectations of a reply - let alone a refund - are low.

My opinion about erodvd may be changing as I have 2 they put on backorder. They still charge your credit card though. I do not like that they did that and they give you no idea when the backorder will ship.

Luckily I charged them so if my backorder does not come within 30 days they better give me no probs with a refun or I will file a claim with my credit card company.

I've never once recieved any back-ordered titles from ero although they only invoice me what they ship..which is fair enough, plus i do only tend to pick up sale stuff from them due to their discs condition...so probably why.On another note the dvdpacific discs finally arrived today nearly a month after shipment...things are very slow comin over the pond right now with discs shipped a week before another package arriving a week later...go figure! Hope things start to improve again and this isnt gonna be the norm.
