I attended Erotica L.A. last year and the year before. It was -- and is again being held this year -- at the Los Angeles Convention Center. If you want flashing, you won't find it in the convention room itself (unless, maybe, some starlet really wants to give you a special, private treat in an obscure corner somewhere). It's a great place to chat with some of the more laid-back porn stars, though. I had nice conversations with Amber Michaels and Keri Windsor last year, both of whom were absolute dolls -- warm, fun, and articulate.
Erotica L.A. is a classy, well-produced event that seems to improve each successive year (from what I've both seen and heard). The event focuses on "erotica" in a broader sense than just porn, and has definite couples appeal for that reason. Lots of couples spanning a wide variety of ages attend. It just shows you (encouragingly) that sex doesn't need to end at age 30, or when married with kids, or beyond.
The convention takes place over 2-1/2 days, and porn stars naturally come and go at different times. The best time for purchasing items is on Sunday (the last day of the event) because the sellers would rather make deals than lug their stuff back to where it came from. For all other purposes, the earlier you come to the convention, the better, because it is crowded and intense and most people exhibiting or promoting there (the performers most especially) are fresher earlier in the weekend.
To all ADTer's in or around Los Angeles, IMHO it's an event definitely worth checking out!

Bob, I wonder if you could take the time to describe your experience talking with Amber in more details... I love this performer. She has a very mature beauty, no sexual shyness whatsoever... I'm naturally very curious about what she'd have to say, and how she'd say it. I know it was a year ago and probably quick but... Thank you.
Sorry to disappoint, but both conversations were relatively short and not intimate in any way. I was just another curious and appreciative fan, nothing more.
All I can really say from my brief but pleasant exchanges with each of Amber and Keri is that both women seemed very warm, genuine, and smart, naturally and comfortably themselves, and the kind of "good people" -- their enormous sex-appeal not considered -- that I'd like to have as friends or neighbors (but, of course, won't because our paths have no natural reason to cross).
in Vegas they were playing XXX movie clips at Red Light's booth for most of the early times, though they stopped, probably because it was too "hardcore"
You won't see much, if any, flashing of anyting, though it is a great way to talk to performers and get photos, and the like, nothing too spectacular.
Of course this is based on my first and only adult convention, this year in Vegas. I thought it was great to just meet everyone, didn't care too much about flashing.
Not all porn stars come off very genuine when they meet their fans. It's understandable; I really believe their job is tough, even if in a different way than rocket science.
But it's a plus when stars you've met leave you with a pleasant impression. Enhances your experience next time you fantasize about them.
I attended an Erotica L.A. a couple years ago and had a pretty good time. Doesn't quite compare to the blow out held in Vegas but still most definitely a worth-while event.
