just wanted to post here and say that I had a problem with an order which was unusual, the title "seymore butts goes nuts" was on the artwork and the disc itself but the actual film was called "deeper"
I contacted ethan at fivestar who checked all their stock and yes wevery copy of "symore butts goes nuts" was faulty.
ethan agreed to send me another semore butts called "bustin out my best" free of charge and postage to the u.k.
I call that top!!! service, disc arrived today, in perfect condition and is excellent.
so order from fivestar with absolute confidence I know I will.
oh yea!! he even activated a internet money off voucher for $5 bucks. nice one ethan!!!!!!
Thast excellent news!!! It's good to hear that Fivestar are truly taking on board any problems that the customers are having!! Well done Ethan and well done 5 Star!!!
Yep - I've got nothing but good things to say about Ethan and 5 Star. A quality outfit!

Months ago I had only one problem from Five Star regarding a backordered item that took a loooong time. (It was the manufacturers problem, not Five Star)
Other than that single situation, I have had excellent service from Five Star. I use they on a fairly regular basis.
here I go again have ordered "dangerous woman" marc dorcel/wicked from fivestar and used the 5 bucks voucher from ethan, just hope I don't get clobbered again for import duty, this time I only ordered 1 dvd which ethan advised, total $28.65, about £19.00 delivered. I will post again when it arrives. can't wait gotta love laura angel

Being Devil's Advocate, surely these problems shouldn't exist in order to be put right.

Well Rump,
Shit happens. That's life. But when it does, do they work to set it right? That's what I look for.
its true the problem shouldn't exist in the first place.
fivestar have to obey the law which is fair enough
but it strikes me as odd that I get the free dvd this
morning and on the customs declaration is $0.00 arrived at my house no customs interference, lovely. but i know they are going to put $28.65 on the marc dorsel dvd i have just ordered which is nearly £19.00 over the £18.00 allowed by u.k. customs
fingers crossed just wish their was a way round this
here we go again

@Denver... I must be one lucky guy - never had any any any any problems with: dvdadvantage dvdempire adultdvdnow dvdexplorer Regards, Rump.
I totally agree with the others here about Five Star DVD being an outstanding company. I've been a regular customer for a couple years now and have never encountered any major problems, other than a few of of my selections being out of stock on occasion. Overall, they are an excellent online source for porn and I highly recommend them!
aren't you the lucky one the value was 76 u.s. dollars on the customs declaration and customs are always looking for high value packets cos they know they can get away with charging duty because their maximum allowable non duty amount is £18.00 I am not sure if this is per dvd or the whole packet, my beef is not with fivestar they have been very helpful and mindblowingly efficient.
my beef is with u.k. customs and our post office who charge a handling charge for erm!! handing the package to customs, almost as much as the duty charged by customs, which to say the least is not on!!!!
I understand fully that fivestar are obeying the law and as I have already stated earlier on thats fine.
all I am saying is that certain other companies obviously break the law on their customs declaration, to keep it below the suspicious amounts of £18.00.
and I do not agree with lawbreaking, bending yes breaking no.
rump has just thrown his hat in the ring cos he is being
devils advocate after all this forum would be bloody boring if we all agreed on everything, wouldn't it.

I LOVE the company that writes on the package "value inside $3" Even if it's $333.00. Of course I couldn't name 'em.
Ethan and Fivestardvd have always provided great customer service in my extensive experiences with them.
Screwups can and always will happen, regardless of the business you're dealing with. My most recent was with the airline, Qantas, over a lot more then a couple of dvds.
What's the telling thing is the manner in which the business attempts to fix the situation. If only my dealings with Qantas were as easy to fix and smooth as my dealings with Ethan and Fivestar!
