I can't put exact dates on it but almost certainly during my second and third years at uni (1991-93). At the time me and my friends used to visit a local shop (in Southampon) that sold second hand books and general tat but at the rear of the shop was another room with second hand porno mags in. This started me collecting Club as well as buying the present issues. Do you recall a Club girl called Ginny? I found a couple of sites that sell this and other Angelica Bella DVDs (cheaper than Orgazmik): adultedvdx.com has three. (You might need to click link twice.) mes-dvd.com has eight, including two very cheap Fisherman's Wife DVDs. Is this one video split into two for some reason? And how much of Angelica is there on the Private DVDs? Erodvd had an Angelica DVD for sale recently. Like La Veuve De Buda-Fesse , it's 2 films on 1 DVD. Unfortunately, it's not there anymore and I can't remember the title. It is an Italian video produced by a company called Grande Idea Video Group. The director is Christophe Clark. VMD only distributes it in France. It's a shame no one has put more effort into reissuing the products of one of Europe's best stars on DVD. All I can find is: La Femme du Pecheur 1 La Femme du Pecheur 2 La Veuve de Buda-fesse Viva Italia! Roma Connection waterproof mentions a DBM comp - anyone know the title? And mention of Angelica in Private movies is a red herring. [Link]

Also, the way they prefer to reissue back catalogue hacked up into compilations rather than as full editions (the classics series is a notable exception) seems to imply they have litle regard for their own work, and less regard for the fans. While I'm on it, I must vent another pet peeve, which is that I've heard from two different vendors telling me Videorama, and now it appears Magma too, only make limited runs of any movie on DVD and don't order a new batch when stocks run out. To stay on topic, I should note this springs from discovering that Noproblemo's suggestion Spritzende Colts is listed as "discontinued" on Orgazmik's site. The scenes, in both cases, are taken from "Dreams of Anal". Videorama, Magma, and DBM have all felt the effects of what one of my contacts at Scala refers to as 'predatory American pricing'. In their view, American companies have 'dumped' their product on the European market, depressing price levels to the point where the big studios are creating fewer new releases, going with less well-known talent, and focussing on re-releasing classic material on DVD. To fail to maximise the potential of having rare scenes with an actress like Angelica Bella, for example, in your catalogue is criminal, leaving us scrabbling about for information. I wonder if this competition is a reflection on the quality of the products that the German companies have been releasing? Did they take the easy option of licensing too much US porn, and are now feeling the pinch? Is German porn in a sorry state? Okay, so these are all questions for another discussion, but I feel that the French companies seem to have coped much better with the advent of DVD and are continuing to make features and promote star performers. The closest I can find Spritzende Colts is Cock City Corral at BayCouples SHOP . Unfortunately this is only on VHS and their option to ' convert ' to PAL format for an extra $10 does not inspire confidence that this is anything other than a copy . Also they charge $17 for shipping ( I think ) which is quite steep ! Anyone know somewhere that might still have some copies of Magma's DVD version in stock ? Gabriel I've come across Dreams of Anal but this 2 film DVD makes no mention of Angelica or any of her aliases on the cover so I'm a little unsure about it . Also the website ( Australian based ) do not say how much they charge for international shipping , instead advising that they will contact you later with the amount due . Not the most transparent of business practices now is it ! Still at the price they are offering $AU 29.00 ( about £12.60 ) this is quite a tempting purchase . Total side issue here but the disc at Gallery Entertainment has the same X 18+ marking that we discussed in another thread . Does this mean that the DVD could be censored . And lastly Orgazmik , ah , why do they tempt us like that . Give us some screen shots and even an asking price , but then as Gabriel pointed out they calmly inform you that this DVD has been ' Discontinued by the publisher ' . I know an earlier post linked to an Australian site offering a DVD of "Dreams of Anal", but there's no such item on DBM's own site, so... As to your comments on DBM (and to some extent, Videorama) taking a lazy (?) approach to compilations, I agree wholeheartedly. Since I wound up not going to Venus in Berlin, I sent along some notes/requests and suggestions with Mike from Nova. Among those was the plea to credit the original titles in compilations. Frankly, they do this in their Joker series, and have done it in the past in the Hot Shots series, so it can't be too much trouble. I think a discussion of the the effects on US porn imports on European porn probably deserves it's own thread in the main forum. I'll post some thing a little later on... I also bought DBM Classics 9, where she appears with the alias Katy Kay (thanks to EGAFD for that) in a movie called Act Studio. I can't comment on the movies yet! Supergirl is, as noted, a Dolly Buster comp which has some VHS boxcover pictures among the extras, but no details of where the scenes come from, which is annoying. [Link]

Having watched Angelica's scene with Dolly, it was something of a blast from the past, a style of porn that seems from a completely different era. It's called Anal Europe 2 and at first I was worried it might be The Fisherman's Wife repackaged and sold to the gullible ( me ) . Happily though it turns out to be an entirely new porno that I'd not seen before . It's hard to tell if this was made as a feature or is merely several old scenes spliced together . The central conceit is that two drinking buddies sit at a bar and regale each other with tales of their conquests . After a short amount of terrible dialogue the action cuts to a sex scene which may -or may not- have been shot for this title . If you're interested the two guys are Randy West and Cal Jammer ( both with hilarious mullets ) and they each get to have a pop at Angelica in separate scenes . There are three other scenes , and overall the picture quality is not bad , though the overlaid music reminds me of every lift I've ever been in . [Link]

The discs are at quite a reasonable price I feel and are of good picture quality if often lacking any extras. Here's some comment on the ones I bought, and have watched so far: From the early 90's L'Incesto, co-starring Veronica Bella - a Christoph Clark effort with a supposed lesbian incest scene between the girls. Probably the best of the movies, typical early Clark directorial effort with fairly stitled shooting but lots of anal. From your translation, Lee O, you've answered a question I posed on EGAFD without much luck, i.e. is "Belle Angelica Bella" a French release of the Italian title "Una porno diva con i tachhi a spilo". The answer would appear to be yes. Another Clark number with plenty of Angelica, Later releases are directed by one Canyon Grand, starting with mid-late nineties' "Perche alle donne piace prenderlo in culo" (oh really!) - girls, including Angelica Bella and Veronica Bella tell stories of anal sex experiences to a TV crew. Erika Bella and Jennifer Red also in it. Not bad - Angelica shows alternative use for bottle of Soave. Veronica's scene also features another girl having sex while in stocks - rare instance of sex + bondage! More recent still are "La Signora degli uccelli" (Angelica as horny bored housewife), "La Sessuologa" (Angelica as doctor taking hands on approach to sexual problems). In these, Angelica definitely looks pretty good to me, a little fuller of figure and with longer hair. I do feel you'd need to be a die hard fan as I found these movies really generic with plenty of tepid sex, bad acting, cliched shooting (how many times does the director need to let the camera pan to items of tacky pottery on the sideboard before an edit?). Still the girls almost always seem to get it in the ass if that's your bag! Angelica features in at least two scenes per movie, though I can't honestly say they are spectacular - very formulaic in approach. Yet to view "Sesso facile" (Simony in the cast) and "Amori facile" (looks like Eva Black could be in that one with shorter hair, not sure yet)...reports later. Incidentally, would recommend the FM Video compilation "The Best of Angelica Bella" if only for the opening scene in which Angelica does the lot! [Link]

I used to have several of the Euro hardcore mags (Private, etc) featuring Angelica, though I don't think I ever saw her in a video.

Are any of her titles available from the US, or even from Erodvd? I'd look, but I think my chances of looking through their catalogue and finding one of Angelica's random Italian titles are slim to none.

Gabriel, it will haver been Club I saw her in as well. I can't put exact dates on it but almost certainly during my second and third years at uni (1991-93). At the time me and my friends used to visit a local shop (in Southampon) that sold second hand books and general tat but at the rear of the shop was another room with second hand porno mags in. This started me collecting Club as well as buying the present issues.
Do you recall a Club girl called Ginny? She was their girl for a year or so and definitely our house favourite at the time (not quite as attractive as AB but she removed her pubes so perfectly that this gave her a head start in the days when muffs still existed).

As for Ginny, oh yes! I remember her well. A set of her in cycling gear was a particular favourite of mine! I believe she used the name Brandy Sanders (spelling?) and became an actress in TV movies etc.

Wally, I don't know anything more about La Veuve De Buda-Fesse than I just discovered by doing a bit of Googling.

I found a couple of sites that sell this and other Angelica Bella DVDs (cheaper than Orgazmik):

adultedvdx.com has three. (You might need to click link twice.)

mes-dvd.com has eight, including two very cheap Fisherman's Wife DVDs. Is this one video split into two for some reason? And how much of Angelica is there on the Private DVDs?

Erodvd had an Angelica DVD for sale recently. Like La Veuve De Buda-Fesse , it's 2 films on 1 DVD. Unfortunately, it's not there anymore and I can't remember the title. It's a Dino one and I'm sure Angelica gets DP'ed, because I have a mag with the photos.

I am pretty sure that Angelica had several scenes in the video. It is too long ago since I have seen it to remember anything specific. Strictly speaking, it is not a Dorcel title. It is an Italian video produced by a company called Grande Idea Video Group. The director is Christophe Clark. VMD only distributes it in France.
Maybe The Colonel can help you with this title, since Deborah Wells is also in it.

I rather get the dvd from orgazmik 'cos I think the copy they have is NTSC. ...I found screenshots in Dorcel's site and yeah looks like Angelica appears in 4-5 scenes. 2 Which btw are with 2-3 guys. Now my question is; ..will be an educated guess to asume that Angelica is dp'ed in this video?? ..Dorcel's doesn't show anything explicit.

I should have added the caveat I hadn't found any more discs at stores I know to be reliable (or agreeably priced!)

Walter, I agree with you. I used to watch their movies, now I have no interest. Also, the way they prefer to reissue back catalogue hacked up into compilations rather than as full editions (the classics series is a notable exception) seems to imply they have litle regard for their own work, and less regard for the fans.

While I'm on it, I must vent another pet peeve, which is that I've heard from two different vendors telling me Videorama, and now it appears Magma too, only make limited runs of any movie on DVD and don't order a new batch when stocks run out.

To stay on topic, I should note this springs from discovering that Noproblemo's suggestion Spritzende Colts is listed as "discontinued" on Orgazmik's site.

I can help you a little on this Gabriel Nine. Sexview the euro porn channel showed a few Dolly Buster compilations last year. However, rather annoyingly they missed the titles and credits from all the movies! Relying on their schedule they claim to have shown 'Queen of Erotic' but in my database I have only Dolly Buster and the beautiful Simona Valli listed. If you wish I will check through the movie to see if Angelica appears in a scene.

First off, both "Super Girl" and "Queen of Erotic" have Angellica Bella scenes with Dolly Buster. The scenes, in both cases, are taken from "Dreams of Anal".

Videorama, Magma, and DBM have all felt the effects of what one of my contacts at Scala refers to as 'predatory American pricing'. In their view, American companies have 'dumped' their product on the European market, depressing price levels to the point where the big studios are creating fewer new releases, going with less well-known talent, and focussing on re-releasing classic material on DVD.

Scott, do you know if "Dreams of Anal" is itself available on DVD?

I can see where the companies Scott mentions are coming from, but it's the haphazard way that DBM are putting out compilations, with no proper indication of what movies the scenes are taken from, that bugs me. It's just sloppy, like the pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap approach in retailing.

To fail to maximise the potential of having rare scenes with an actress like Angelica Bella, for example, in your catalogue is criminal, leaving us scrabbling about for information.

I wonder if this competition is a reflection on the quality of the products that the German companies have been releasing? Did they take the easy option of licensing too much US porn, and are now feeling the pinch? Is German porn in a sorry state?

Okay, so these are all questions for another discussion, but I feel that the French companies seem to have coped much better with the advent of DVD and are continuing to make features and promote star performers. I did read in interview with the boss of Blue One, however, that the cable market and making soft versions is often essential to the viability of many European porn producers.

noproblemo , I'm afraid your link doesn't work for me . The closest I can find Spritzende Colts is Cock City Corral at BayCouples SHOP . Unfortunately this is only on VHS and their option to ' convert ' to PAL format for an extra $10 does not inspire confidence that this is anything other than a copy . Also they charge $17 for shipping ( I think ) which is quite steep ! Anyone know somewhere that might still have some copies of Magma's DVD version in stock ?

Gabriel I've come across Dreams of Anal but this 2 film DVD makes no mention of Angelica or any of her aliases on the cover so I'm a little unsure about it . Also the website ( Australian based ) do not say how much they charge for international shipping , instead advising that they will contact you later with the amount due . Not the most transparent of business practices now is it ! Still at the price they are offering $AU 29.00 ( about £12.60 ) this is quite a tempting purchase .

Total side issue here but the disc at Gallery Entertainment has the same X 18+ marking that we discussed in another thread . Does this mean that the DVD could be censored . Afraid I have no knowledge about rating policies down under .

Thanks for the help . My heart leapt when I saw that Colts was available from Vidshop.com . Then I saw this thread and it sank without trace . Much like those unfortunate ripped off customers' DVDs .

xDVD-discount.com seems like it could be promising , unfortunately my German extends no further than corny Second World War films so that one must go on the backburner for now .

And lastly Orgazmik , ah , why do they tempt us like that . Give us some screen shots and even an asking price , but then as Gabriel pointed out they calmly inform you that this DVD has been ' Discontinued by the publisher ' .

Think I'll try 1a-dvdshop.ch again but I don't hold out much hope .....

After going through DBM's website, I'd have to say that
"Dreams of Anal" isn't available on DVD, whether as an individual release, or paired with another title in the Classics line. I know an earlier post linked to an Australian site offering a DVD of "Dreams of Anal", but there's no such item on DBM's own site, so...

As to your comments on DBM (and to some extent, Videorama) taking a lazy (?) approach to compilations, I agree wholeheartedly. Since I wound up not going to Venus in Berlin, I sent along some notes/requests and suggestions with Mike from Nova. Among those was the plea to credit the original titles in compilations. Frankly, they do this in their Joker series, and have done it in the past in the Hot Shots series, so it can't be too much trouble.

I think a discussion of the the effects on US porn imports on European porn probably deserves it's own thread in the main forum. I'll post some thing a little later on...

I can see where the companies Scott mentions are coming from, but it's the haphazard way that DBM are putting out compilations, with no proper indication of what movies the scenes are taken from, that bugs me. It's just sloppy, like the pile 'em high and sell 'em cheap approach in retailing.
To fail to maximise the potential of having rare scenes with an actress like Angelica Bella, for example, in your catalogue is criminal, leaving us scrabbling about for information.
I wonder if this competition is a reflection on the quality of the products that the German companies have been releasing? Did they take the easy option of licensing too much US porn, and are now feeling the pinch? Is German porn in a sorry state?
Okay, so these are all questions for another discussion, but I feel that the French companies seem to have coped much better with the advent of DVD and are continuing to make features and promote star performers. I did read in interview with the boss of Blue One, however, that the cable market and making soft versions is often essential to the viability of many European porn producers.

Lee O, thanks for the investigative work. That Austrailian site looks like it was designed by the same company that made the XODVDs site, oddly enough. Maybe they've just made those symbols up themselves!

Just a little update on the availability of Angelica Bella's movies on DVD. I lifted my "ban" on DBM in order to pursue Ms Bella, and just acquired some of the releases mentioned above (DBM Classics 18, for Secrets of Mozart, and Supergirl) from Simply the Best. I also bought DBM Classics 9, where she appears with the alias Katy Kay (thanks to EGAFD for that) in a movie called Act Studio. I can't comment on the movies yet! Supergirl is, as noted, a Dolly Buster comp which has some VHS boxcover pictures among the extras, but no details of where the scenes come from, which is annoying.

Thanks a lot, Scott, that's most helpful. It does make you wonder why DBM couldn't spend just a little time doing this sort of thing themselves - after all, a viewer might watch a given scene and feel they might just wish to go on.

Am I right in thinking that the rest of these Dolly Buster Compilations, like Queen of Erotic, are a similarly aimless mix of scenes chopped up from her movies?

Having watched Angelica's scene with Dolly, it was something of a blast from the past, a style of porn that seems from a completely different era. Still, worth watching - I wonder how many of today's star names would be prepared for this sort of five-finger fun!

Wow, I'd never properly browsed through that STB site before Gabriel. I've been after DBM Classics 5 for a while now but not been able to find it (I like laura turner and would like to see her anally fist another woman). They really sort of bury stuff away on that site, even after your comments it has taken me a while to find the series (if you go to 'fisting' and then 'DBM' the classics series is not listed!).

Definitely going to order from here, I'm moving house on tuesday (hopefully) so I best wait till then - hate to get it sent to the new house then everything fall through at the last minute and the owners receive my fisting order

Received a different Angelica DVD in the post this morning . It's called Anal Europe 2 and at first I was worried it might be The Fisherman's Wife repackaged and sold to the gullible ( me ) . Happily though it turns out to be an entirely new porno that I'd not seen before .

It's hard to tell if this was made as a feature or is merely several old scenes spliced together . The central conceit is that two drinking buddies sit at a bar and regale each other with tales of their conquests . After a short amount of terrible dialogue the action cuts to a sex scene which may -or may not- have been shot for this title . If you're interested the two guys are Randy West and Cal Jammer ( both with hilarious mullets ) and they each get to have a pop at Angelica in separate scenes . There are three other scenes , and overall the picture quality is not bad , though the overlaid music reminds me of every lift I've ever been in .

That's good to hear Lee O - there was a chance your fears were right, as the EGAFD has The Fisherman's Wife down as "Anal Europe 1: The Fisherman's Wife".

Sir Noel, glad to be of assistance. I think this company are fairly reliable (they even answer my usual complaining emails promptly!) though they send discs and covers separately, which is slightly annoying - this time they folded the artwork to fit the bleedin' envelope. I suppose it makes for a more discreet package.

Sorry, I should have put a direct link, but the site uses frames. For readers struggling to locate the DBM Classics page in the STB site, it's here (or go via hetero, various unusual sex acts, ultra-hard german etc)...

Oh, forgot, I have a review of Supergirl nearly ready to go. I watched Act Studio last night too, and despite the usual flaws, it was surprisingly good, very varied content and ideal for Angelica fans (only one scene, but she looks fab) and lovers of great legs and stockings too.

Took a quick look at BestDVDx this evening and what should I find ?

Belle Angelica Bella Marc Dorcel

dir : Christophe Clark , released 15th Febuary

My dodgy translation of their blurb reveals this ~

There's a picture on the back cover where she's in pigtails and tennis shoes , which could be the scene which Waterproof remembers seeing . They also have Fannatastic's picture on there as well .

i remember seeing her on the cover of a hustler mag a long time ago. then i saw her on the cover of Fisherman's Wife 2 in a porno store (when i was old enough) and was overjoyed to see she was more than just a mag girl. now i'm trying to build a collection of her better movies...FW 2 had too many slow motion scenes in my opinion that really took away from movie. euro is much better.

Just a bump , in the hope that Gabriel Nine or Spando will elaborate on the newer Angelica Bella DVDs/VHSs they've seen . What exactly does she do in these ? Is the picture quality and camera work up to par ? And how about the places you've been ordering from , what sort of service did you receive ?

"Queen of Erotic" is also one of the Dolly Buster compilations. The scene with Angelica is another
scene taken from "Dreams of Anal".

Other scenes on the DVD come from:
"Black Tea"
"Memories of Dolly 2"
"Buster Booster" (I forget if it's 1 or 2)
and
"San Francisco Connection"

Also, I believe that DBM has released "Dreams of Anal" as a standalone DVD title. I don't know who's carrying it at the moment, but a German online shop had it bundled up among a set of 10 DBM titles.

In another thread - dedicated to Eva Black - Mr_White posted this link to an Italian site which is taking preorders for some of her new titles . As a matter of coincidence they are on Bella Video and feature ( on the cover and cast list anyway ) a certain Ms Angelica Bella . If you search for her you'll find many of her newer releases at fair rates - hopefully this'll work

I'm still hoping someone can let us know what sort of involvement AB has in these titles .

A worthy bump to this topic Lee O!

Bought some titles from DVD Land, as per the link in Lee O's post. The discs are at quite a reasonable price I feel and are of good picture quality if often lacking any extras.

Here's some comment on the ones I bought, and have watched so far:

From the early 90's L'Incesto, co-starring Veronica Bella - a Christoph Clark effort with a supposed lesbian incest scene between the girls. Probably the best of the movies, typical early Clark directorial effort with fairly stitled shooting but lots of anal.

From your translation, Lee O, you've answered a question I posed on EGAFD without much luck, i.e. is "Belle Angelica Bella" a French release of the Italian title "Una porno diva con i tachhi a spilo". The answer would appear to be yes. Another Clark number with plenty of Angelica,

Later releases are directed by one Canyon Grand, starting with mid-late nineties' "Perche alle donne piace prenderlo in culo" (oh really!) - girls, including Angelica Bella and Veronica Bella tell stories of anal sex experiences to a TV crew. Erika Bella and Jennifer Red also in it. Not bad - Angelica shows alternative use for bottle of Soave. Veronica's scene also features another girl having sex while in stocks - rare instance of sex + bondage!

More recent still are "La Signora degli uccelli" (Angelica as horny bored housewife), "La Sessuologa" (Angelica as doctor taking hands on approach to sexual problems). In these, Angelica definitely looks pretty good to me, a little fuller of figure and with longer hair. I do feel you'd need to be a die hard fan as I found these movies really generic with plenty of tepid sex, bad acting, cliched shooting (how many times does the director need to let the camera pan to items of tacky pottery on the sideboard before an edit?). Still the girls almost always seem to get it in the ass if that's your bag! Angelica features in at least two scenes per movie, though I can't honestly say they are spectacular - very formulaic in approach.

Yet to view "Sesso facile" (Simony in the cast) and "Amori facile" (looks like Eva Black could be in that one with shorter hair, not sure yet)...reports later.

Incidentally, would recommend the FM Video compilation "The Best of Angelica Bella" if only for the opening scene in which Angelica does the lot!
