Some of the titles are by Marc Dorcel, Mario Salieri or Joe d'Amato. So I think you have to watch out for the American companies normally releasing the movies of these directors/studios.

I don't think Salieri has a distributor in the USA. A better bet is either the French distributor (used to be Colmax, since Faust it is VMD) or the German distributor (Goldlight).

"Katsumi" is a fairly popular title (by Colmax?). You should be able to find it on-line.
The little Katsumi is one impressive performer: in "Faust" she "swallows" Steve Holmes many times (I mean, Steve's puppy disappears in Katsumi's mouth).

Other videos (@ xsex.cz) are from Italian labels, like Pink'o, Stars, FM.
Pink'o's are available through Erodvd.nl.

Katsumi is the contract girl for Colmax. However, I don't know of a title called Katsumi . There is Alain Payet's L'affaire Katsumi , which was shot for VMD before Katsumi signed her contract with Colmax. This caused something of a row in the French porn industry. Apparently the film was originally given a different title and story, but VMD changed the title and the storyline after Katsumi signed for Colmax, allegedly just to spite them. It seems that VMD has marketed their film as a Katsumi vehicle to counter the claim of Colmax exclusive rights on the actress.
When a "journalist" of "Hot Video" wrote about the switcheroo done by Payet-VMD, Marc Dorcel reacted in an uncharacteristic venomous way, upon which the "journalist" reacted in such an apologetic way, it is hard to believe. I guess the "privileged" relationship between VMD and "Hot Video" is more important than journalistic integrity.
FWIW, L'affaire Katsumi is one of the most popular films in France of 2002, according to "Hot Video". I may have big suspicions about the validity of their "Hot Parade", but I don't think they are wrong on this.

I Just came back from Napoli where Katsumi and I worked for the new Mario Salieri Movie "Dolce Vita".

I never shot for Colmax. The above mentioned movie "Katsumi" is released by Video Marc Dorcel.

Je n'ai jamais considéré Hot Video comme un journal sérieux sur le X, plutôt un outil marketing pour la promo de VMD et Blue One ainsi que de leurs filles, sinon comme expliquer la popularité d'une fille aussi quelconque que Ovidie.

Agreed!

I'm happy to find out I'm not the only one thinking this. They don't take their reviews seriously when the review section should be the core of the magazine. They are cosy with some studios/performers. Hot Parade is such a joke, I wonder why they are still running it, or maybe they think we're all idiots (from too much masturbation)! .

About Ovidie I'm not sure. I've just seen her in "Max" (Blue One), and her very short scene was quite exciting, in a weird way... I've just bought "Orgie en noir" and will reserve my opinion until I view that DVD.
