A few buddies just returned from Europe. France, German, and some former eastern block countries. While there they hooked up with a number of different ladies from clubs and bars. They say they with the RARE exception most Euro babes are willing to allow anal sex. I've seen this in porn and just figured it was because they needed the money more, but now it would appear that European women are far more willing to give up the ass than American women... Why do you think that is?
Puritanical values instilled in most of american culture? The girls I've met don't want to experiment with most stuff that's not 'normal' and I think that's because sex is still looked at in a negative light here. You wouldn't know that with all of the babies that people are having nowadays, but when it comes to doing alternative sex acts, people act like it's something weird. Maybe it's just Texas though...

Welcome To America, the most repressed nation in the history of the planet. There is a difference and you only have to look at the batshit insane response to seeing Janet's tit during the Super Bowl and every other countries laughing at said response to understand the difference. And that's just the tip of the anal iceberg.
Perhaps we should consider the fact that the American guys who are fucking these European women in the ass aren't going to be sticking around and boast about it to all the local dickheads said women don't want harassing them for sex, much less trash talking about them after getting some. Think of it as the social version of safe sex. As for American women, just because she doesn't trust you enough to let you have a go at anal sex right now doesn't mean she'll never be willing to experiment with you. It just means you need to be a lot better acquainted. Of course, if getting better acquainted proves you're a boaster and blabber mouth then not getting any is your own damned fault.

I still think most of the anecdotes here are just that. Then add confirmation bias and limited experience (there's only so many people you can fuck and practically no one fucks a broad enough selection of women for their observations to be statistically significant).
How do you define statistically significant (at which confidence level)? But, it seems easy to do a test: we assume that there are only two outcomes, then we need the probability of a girl fucking anal,, which I would say is in Europe like 70-80% (I would say only Arabic girls are more anal focus which is close to 100%... So how many girls which refused anal sex in America does a guy needs to fuck to be statistically significant? We could also ask Bernoulli to answer even the questions how many girls he needs to fuck and get refused if one girl (or two girls) let him fuck her anus...
Never mind the puns, but everyone seems to be pulling numbers out of their asses, and then add their second hand experience with a low number of girls. It could very well be that Euro girls are somewhat more open to anal, but the assumptions that are thrown around here seem completely random and looks like wishful thinking. Of course, the statistical significance point is an empirical issue that is hard to ignore. But insofar as broad anecdotal evidence indicates, Europeans are much open to anal sex than Americans. Puritanical values, physical reasons, cultural ones, and many others could be contributing factors but European gals are certainly more likely to be open to taking it up her butt than Americans.
Hmmm... I live very close to three colleges and spend four evenings every month helping folks prepare their grad school applications. Given that much of my clients are going to be in the this age group, I could try to experiment a little and report results on a few months. Of course, this won't be very scientific, but it will be something fun ;) Does anyone know of any serious studies done on anal sex preferences?
