I liked the fact that she wasn't a) covered in tattoos, b) a blonde and c) a stick figure with a couple of bolt-ons (to be fair, her tits are fake, but she carries it well as she has a little extra meat on her bones. She also had a nice face. At one point, I know she was on one of my top ten lists as a pornstar I'd like to be with, pretty much based on her looks alone. But as she made more and more films, I noticed just how robotic she seems to be, how she almost never brought anything new to the table. She did one cum swallowing scene (very early on) that I am aware of, but since then, she's made the guys cum on her tits or ass, or she'll take it in the face/mouth but spit it right out. Ditto with anal, DP and IR... she experimented with each of these but the results always seems to fall short of (my expectations). There just was never any heat. Just an actress going through the motions so she can get paid. And don't even get me started on the phony little girl's giggle that she does. Its just creepy. Every time she does it, I think it must be exclusively for the benefit of the pedophiles out there. At this point in her career, she passes more for a soccer mom than a school girl anyway, so hopefully she gives it up. All of that aside, I never really had a big problem with her until she dropped out of hardcore and moved back East, purportedly to attend college... only to pop back up on the radar a few months later, pimping her own site (all softcore). It was annoying. (People can sell what they want and how they want it... what was annoying about it was how she framed it as a big "I'm leaving the industry to get my life together" when in reality it was much closer to "I'm leaving the industry because I don't like how I'm being paid and I think I can continue to earn big money doing a lot less work." Even then, I stuck with her to a lesser degree... suffering through all of the vapid postings about the problems she was having with her site, the constant cancellations of her cam shows (honestly guys, if she'd book three shows in a week, you could count on her to cancel at least two of them last minute). That was the final straw for me, so I got out. But I did hear that she then started doing auctions for her fans and maybe something like Amazon wish lists, too. And then it devolved further to her simply posting on Twitter and her blog asking fans to just give her money, all under the pretense of some legal case she was building to reclaim the URLs that were "stolen" from her. I'm curious as to just how far she pursued those cases with the money her fans sent in. I know for a fact that it also rubbed a number of people wrong that she campaigned so hard on social networking sites to be named Miss Freeones 2009 (I believe that's the right year). This, in a year when she hadn't really kept up her web site and wasn't releasing any new content, even softcore. Again, effectively asking for a hand-out. And yeah, if you're wondering, its the hand-out aspect that drives me nuts with some of these girls. Call a girl a whore all you want, but if she's willing to fuck one of her fans for $1600/hour, at least she's participating in a transaction. I have some respect for that girl. But when some of these girls simply expect guys to buy them shit off Amazon or just send them cash, I have zero respect for them. (They can get away with it only because there are thousands of guys out there deluded enough to think that if he sends someone like Eve a gift from Tiffany & Co., he's actually forming a relationship with her and he might have some chance to fuck her someday.) Add in Eve's claim from a few years ago that she has a genius level IQ (since debunked), and to me, the writing on the wall is clear: she thinks she's better than the industry and the people involved. That attitude is evident when you watch her on screen. There's just no sense that this girl loves to fuck. No passion. No enthusiasm. My guess is that the big comeback is probably a way of paying some bills, since the sporadic softcore updates and begging for handouts on Twitter wasn't generating the kind of revenue she hoped for. Or maybe there is a big expense down the road (somebody mentioned they saw an engagement ring on her finger in the new Brazzers update). So maybe she'll do a dozen or so scenes to pay for her dream wedding and then leave again. Who knows? What's interesting about her figure in this "comeback" is that she's lost some weight, but isn't nearly as toned as some of her modeling pics suggest. Her ass, especially, is looking a bit dumpy. I think I would have preferred it if she would have just kept the baby fat and not tried to transform herself into something she doesn't have the body for... and five years too late, at that. Anyway, sorry to rain on everyone's parade. Just wanted to share my two cents. The Brazzers promo looks pretty terrible to me... way too much editing, slow-motion and solo shots tends to equal a lousy scene. And them playing up "The Return" angle? I guess I could see all the fanfare if it was Jenna Jameson or someone of greater stature. But Eve was always middle-of-the-pack at best. PS: Eve's new bush (far from small) isn't doing it for me, either. PPS: It cracks me up that after all of Eve's complaining about how her name should be spelled "Laurence," Brazzers still has it wrong ("Lawrence"). [Link] |
