I want to say that Evil Angel has done it AGAIN with making a 4th Collector's Edition DVD.

Their 4 Collector's Edition/Director's Cut DVDs consist of...

Buttman's Show-Off Girls
Buttman's bend Over Brazilian Babes 3
Buttman's Nudes-a-poppin' 12
BUDA

Now, I know Evil Angel, like few other porn companies, make a # of special features on their DVDs. Xtra footage, Photo Galleria, Fetish Menus & even trailers for few of their DVDs. There are 4 Collector's Edition DVDs for only John Stagliano/Buttman movies.

What I don't understand though, is that why aren't there any Director's Cut/Collector's Edition DVDs made for any other directors? Like a Director's Cut/Collector's Edition for a Jules Jordan DVD? Christoph Clark or Rocco DVD?

Or even a particular way a DVD can be made that is different than most EA DVDs, or even made under the supervision & permission by another film-maker? Kind of like a Criterion Collection.

Evil Angel's DVDs are superior enough. I just wanted to point out that there are Collector's Edition/Director's Cut DVDs made, 4 of them, for only Buttman movies & no other director's films.

Is it because Stagliano is the only one in the company that cares TOO much about his movies & makes them to be THE BEST & the other directors at EA don't care about having a Collector's Edition/Director's Cut of their movie & they are only happy as long as it's released on DVD so people can enjoy it & as long as they just run & get their money???

why is this?

As for something like an ASS WORSHIP movie, It makes no difference, TO ME, whether or not it gets slapped with a "Collectors Edition" label, because those movies are already collector's editions. They sell much & for a long period of a time & the movie is so good that many people don't really care about looking at some of the extra features. And the movie is fine as is, with or without a Director's Cut!

I sure would love to see a Collector's Edition/Director's Cut of HARDBALL 9, since the other Hardball movies on DVD aren't labeled as a Collector's Edition.

I sure would love to see a Collector's Edition/Director's Cut of Buttman's Big Butt Backdoor Babes 2.

And, although Tricia doesn't know about Buttman Confidential coming to DVD anytime soon (I've read before that she doesn't want to talk about it), I bet you anything that Buttman Confidential will be a "Collector's Edition" DVD.

Thanks!
The first 3 we consider director's cuts because as John was editing them, he made a long cut first, and that became the DVD, then he made another cut which was under 140 minutes for the VHS.
Director's Cuts will only be seen for future movies, as we don't make nearly enough money off of a DVD to go back into the raw footage and integrate it into the finished movie. It's difficult enough to go through all the tapes and figure out what wasn't used and include it as extra footage, but when it's possible, we try to do that.
BUDA was considered a special edition because it's 2 discs, has tons of extra footage, and we basically took about 3 times as long to produce that one, with more polished graphics, etc.
Although another director would never work on an Evil Angel DVD, the people in our DVD department do lend a lot of their own creativity and personality to our discs.
The reason it's only been for John's movies so far is because the manager of the DVD department happens to be his wife, and therefore is the only person in the world who can get away with nagging him to get stuff done on time.
All of our directors care about their DVDs, but it's a lot of work to do 2 complete cuts of a movie.
It is very possible that you may see a director's cut for Jules or Christoph later this year, and I have mentioned the idea to the other directors.
Sorry, can't happen, although there will be extra footage on both, it just is too difficult to take that footage and reinsert into a finished movie.
Nope.

Thanks for all the comments!
