There was a time I eagerly waited for the new Evil Angel trailers. Evil was the company that invented and shot all the nasty things in porn. Last month was disappointing. Next month is disappointing too. Alot of compilations lately. The stuff from their regular directors is getting repettitive, boring and cheap. With cheap I mean hardly any ffm scenes. Next month its all boy/girl one on one. The only director who surprises me sometimes is Donnie Darkko John Stagliano only makes weird stuff Toni Ribas is a good performer but his movies don't interest me I am bored by Mike Adriano's stuff Joey Silvera only makes trans stuff (he was soo good in the past :-( Rocco should retire. I think you might be suffering from porn burnout. If nothing out of all those directors interests you, you need to take a step back and think about that.
If you want FFM then go to Elegant Angel, Tushy, Rocco movies, european sites etc. BAM Visions only have 2 girls or more when Anikka is included, to be honest i miss the thressomes in Mike Adriano scenes but well We will not always have what we want right? Try other sites/studios

^I like the quality of most of what I see on the site. By "imagination" do you mean that EA's directors should experiment more? If I like a director's work I don't necessarily need them to change it up. That said, I'm sympathetic to a person becoming bored like tintintin if the content does not appeal to them. I'm not generally bored by EA's content, but boredom and lack of interest is a reasonable response to content that you are not interested in.
^ EA use to be the site of Christoph Clark, Jake Malone, a younger Rocco, and an active Jay Sin to name 4 major contributors. It was also the home of John Leslie and Joey Silvera. I was less of a fan of those two, but they did produce some good content. I don't think Evil Angel has found equal directing talent to replace the departed or just less active. But, if you are enjoying a sizeable amount of their current stuff, great. I still check them out regularly and find some scenes worth paying for (usually ppm). For me, it's just not the go to site it was 7/8 years ago.
I like the content, just don't see it anymore due to the horrendous HD quality available on their website.

Instead of making hot scenes they're cooking to be pushing the limits all the time, and that's a dish I don't stand in line for. Never did. So I've got maybe 50 DVDs from EA and a lot of those DVD are quite good. But these are DVDs from 2006, and years to follow, lately I see nothing worthy of buying, and what I've been buying just did notthing to me, never reached up to my standards of what's good stuff. Because in porn and in any circumstance, there's two criterias above any criteria to sort out things by; good and bad.
No man, your not suffering from burnout, porn has changed, I feel the same. Porn is way too vanilla now, only ones keeping it interesting for me at least are hardx/darkko/premiumbukkake and legalporno.
^I'm sure there is some of that but I think that it's not necessarily the main reason. At least it isn't for me. I'm now at the point where 80% of all the stuff EA puts out is stuff that I download and watch but it's more out of habit than actual interest in the product I'm watching. Worse is that I don't think it's just EA but almost every other gonzo site. We have had at least 20 years of various levels of gonzo and I think we may be getting numbed to that kind of porn. One scene looks very much like the next. The only thing that seems to differentiates them is usually which performer is working with which performer and even that becomes redundant when these two performers have already performer together. One the one side you have anew Keisha scene. It has anal in it and it's well shot. The problem is that Keisha has already done an anal scene with Mark 2 years ago and it was also filmed by Francesca. If I want to take even further than this is her eight anal scene fro EA. I don't blame anyone for shooting it and I'm sure that there are plenty of people that will be thrilled by a new anal scene with Keisha and Mark but I'm not one of these people because I know it won't stimulate me.
Honestly, if you feel that companies like Evil Angel are too "vanilla," then you aren't very aware of the spectrum of adult material available and what the average adult material consumer is interested in. This isn't a knock at Evil Angel, however, they are not "vanilla" in any way.

A large percentage of evil angel stuff is focused on some sort of fetish, but what I like is well shot, vanilla porn with high production values. So Evil Angel is becoming less relevant to me these days. Regarding the HD quality, I believe they require directors to provide low bitrate files for download, probably because of hosting costs. Claudio at BAM Visions told me in another thread that higher bitrate downloads are available through the Bam Visions website.

Before this, EA used to bring out the wild tigers and lions, and lots of Roman empereors. Nowadays all I see is strange rituals gone thru by some marginalized desert tribe. The Q remains, do I wanna join that tribe? Maybe once or twice a year. Before this, they rocked me all day. Yep. This. It boggles the mind that (if they bracket their porn desires by sex act) people think their proclivities are limited. There is a ton of stuff out there and you can request custom videos. There are some really great perspectives here, but I have to take it all the way back to day 1. Evil lost their mojo when Jules Jordan left. They brought in Justin Slayer, who was an amazing talent, that didn't know how to navigate the business, they then brought in other talent and directors from D level studios like EXP and DVSX to helm their own lines as well as veterans directors that hadn't found success elsewhere. They also took on fallout talent from PXP/RLD, but that talent wasn't good enough for Evil, and diluted the quality of product. Evil used to be high quality, but unfortunately, you have the older performers and directors that have resorted to all the spitting, slapping, shoving food in every open hole, because they have run out of ideas or inspiration to keep their dicks hard. You also have a younger crowd of talent, that just doesn't have the experience that made Evil famous. Jules was young when he left, but had years of experience doing great work not only for Evil, but for Rosebud. Like other posters, Evil was my go to studio, but I got tired of having to turn off a scene, because it just wasn't sexy. I don't want to see food in sex, PERIOD. I don't want fists in mouths, makeup smeared or spit dripping, swapping or slobbering. I certainly don't need those damn gloves in every Adrianno scene. Here's a tip. Stop spraying olive oil everywhere and asses won't be so slippery. I get it, everything turns someone on, but how does chow mein with nacho cheese sauce, baked into a calzone with curry butter, drizzled with sausage gravy sound? Sounds like someone who is doing too much and doesn't understand that their customer probably came for one cuisine, not everything the talent is comfortable with. This studio has lost touch with it's roots and what made it an "Empire". When Elegant split off, it was a good thing, it was Evil trimming the fat, I think they need to make some serious cuts if they plan to retain a positive name. That was my impression of what you wrote, but I may have misunderstood you, which is why I asked if I understood you correctly. EDIT: Let's just simplify all of this. Are you saying that Evil Angel has problems or that you have problems with Evil Angel? For example, let's say that I don't like LeWood (although I actually do). If I don't like them that's my problem, but if LeWood releases are also flopping, that's Evil Angel's problem (and LeWood's). I was going to weigh in and support EA but then I realized that even though I have a recurring membership I don't download nearly as much as I used to. I download everything from Mike Adriano but I also join Swallowed regularly and there has been a lot of overlap between those scenes in the past though not as much now. I also used to download a lot of the BAM Visions line of DVDs but I've since discovered that they are less edited and often have a better video quality on the BAM Visions site. I've stopped downloading that stuff from the EA website and get it at BV instead. Likewise with Bryan Gozzling's stuff at EA. I think I downloaded one DVD on EA back when he started making DVDs available there but I soon realized that made no sense since I was downloading them from Hookup Hotshot anyway. I initially stopped downloading those from EA simply because I saw no need to duplicate scenes. But a quick comparison seems to show that the EA scenes are all shorter and therefore likely edited from what's available at HH. That makes sense since these are also marketed as physical DVDs and may attract some attention for obscenity. I'll keep my membership for now, but I can see the day coming where it won't be worth staying there month after month.

I think that when we all enthusiastically discuss our differing opinions that's a good thing. If two people watch the same scene and one likes it while the other does not because their tastes aren't the same, that's great. Of course there are objective facts about the scene (who's in it, who's directed it, the sex positions, the frame rate, etc.), but these two individuals can both recognize those objective facts and yet respond to them differently based on their tastes. So, insofar as you're writing about why you personally don't like Evil Angel's content, of course I appreciate that. It's the rest that I take exception to.

Predictable. That's my severe negative concern too.
