I have several EA dvds purchased in the U.K. They are licenced here to Harmony LtdHarmony Ltd. This by the way is a great uk site which i recommend (they have a big shop in London i think)

All the EA dvds come missing the extras like behind the scence, extra footage, fetish menu etc. I contacted them and they said they leave them out to keep the price down (believing they are not worth the extra youd have to pay)
Are they worth it?

I want The Fashionistas but i think ill get the proper 4 disc version rather than just the 2 disc film version.

Has any one used Blissbox
Whats it like? becuase i might get it from there. They send them from Holland i think.

I think they're full of shit if they say the extras on Evil Angel DVD's are not worth it. Evil Angel are simply the best when it comes to extras. They pack a lot of great stuff in the extras especially the extra footage, you just have to see them! This is the reason why I buy Evil Angel movies directly from the US and not from Holland (Shiva) because I want those extras. I have to pay more money to get them from the US but it's worth every penny and I would advice you to get the original Evil Angel DVD's.

I never used Blissbox so I can't comment on that.

thats rubbish about what they are saying regarding cutting out the extras - they haven't got a clue. They are just there to make money out of everyone.

As for blissbox - I have used them. Personally, I think they are expensive. I think they sell evil angel dvds etc for about £24. Apart from them being expensive I have no complaint about service. The DVd was shipped in a hardback box and delivered in about 3 days. WOn't bother using them again. Why use them and get charged those kind of prices when you can import from the states and have more selection and better prices?

I just checked blissbox and I would really advice against them. Way way too expensive.

Thanks
What i was bothered about was the dvds getting stopped at customs coming from usa (particularly fashionistas). i thought it would be better from europe...

If you are not worried about the price then go ahead and order it from blissbox. there's no way it'll get stopped.

Re. cutting of extras.

Remember, anyone who licences material to distribute in the UK has to *pay* the BBFC to classify everything on the disc. I'm too lazy to check the current rates, but I'm sure I'm not far off if I say putting out a fun-sized party disc will at least double the cost of getting an R18 certificate.

I'm sure these kinda figures matter, 'cos I doubt R18s are selling in huge numbers, given the ltd. numbers of outlets.

Douglas, I can fill you in on that. At http://www.bbfc.co.uk you'll find a fee calculator under "for customers". There's a basic charge of £95 and then it's charged per minute over 10 minutes. It's not totally clear.

It's a very good point - you'll find extras, sometimes even some of the menus which have explicit footage in the background, have been submitted for classification as well as the feature.

One of the many reasons why the BBFC, despite significant improvement over the years, still needs to be reformed.

The drop down menus video/dvd don't work for me!

Anyone else have this problem?

Tinaka - Did you get the 4-disc version of Fashionistas yet? If so, where from, and were there any Customs problems?

TIA.

Hey Struan , I'm not Tinaka but I do live in the UK .

Got the Fashionistas imported about 6 weeks ago from Lasersedge I think ( it may have been Fivestar ). Had an order with each of them around the same time so it kind of blends into one after awhile . Had absolutely no problems with customs although it did come either by DHL or FedEx so that may have helped . Other orders haven't been tampered with even when sent through the ordinary mail so it doesn't seem too risky .

As far as the extras go Ramsey was right on the button . Especially for Fashionistas . It's probably the most stacked box set I own and well worth getting from abroad in my opinion .

Thanks for that Lee Onpui - I did read somewhere that Fashionistas was being stopped by Customs, as the R18 release is cut. I would definitely prefer the full US version (uncut and with extra discs) so I may risk it.

Thanks again.
