Jon- Excellent answer. ;) I can't speak for JJV, but at Evil, we like to think that our directors appeal to the more 'experienced' porn fan, but that each director has his own style and maybe a general type of girl that he'll shoot more often. John Leslie may be too vanilla and artsy for some, just right for others. Jay Sin's gapes and freakish anal toys may be too much for some people, while others wait every month for his next movie.

Let me just say you don't realize just how talented these guys are until you see a flick with top talent and it's as boring as hell. But honestly, as good as all the EvilA and JJ directors are, these scenes are just starting to get a little too long. Darkko alone seems to understand there's no real reason for every single title to be a two disc four hour fuck flick.
Well if you like POV JJV is the best place for you. Mike John, arguably the best POV shooter, is with JJV and the POV pervert series is a must have. I highly recommend Everhard's Anal POV series, anal POV 4 is a classic and Anal POV 5 again should be out soon. Also his anal cavity search. Also Jules' Ass Stretchers POV I would recommend as well and the much anticipated Invasian 3. Upcoming Evil titles the ones that have caught my eye the most are Underworld if you like a bit of kink and The new Nacho Vidal Made in Brazil, that looks a hot cast and I am just waiting for the trailer. Anyway both sites are excellent and you can view the trailers to see what you like anyway. Tricia, who described John Leslie as vanilla, Genghis Khan! More bang for your buck. You can pick out the bits you like and there are more options. Fast forward was invented for porn. Joey Silvera pioneered this. I think his new one Asian Oral is 5 hours long. Trailer is taking a while to get up.

You should check out Manuel Ferrara's 'Fucked on Sight' series, which is his POV series for Evil Angel. His two 'POV' movies for Red Light District are also worth a look (arguably better than the 'Fucked on Sight' series).

I agree. He does get lost in the shuffle a bit. I also like him much better as a director than a performer.

The Mike John, Jake Malone and Manuel Ferrara POV films are all quite good. It's noticeable that all three of these directors seem to cut back a lot on the more extreme circus act sex when shooting POV. For example, I can't stand Mike John's non-POV films, they are ugly and uninspired. My favorite Evil Angel directors are Joey Silvera and early 90s John Leslie (too many threesomes these days) and Jake Malone. Jake's Own My Ass series isn't as rough as his other stuff. Joey mixes a lot of different approaches into his films, so sometimes you'll find the rough stuff but he always does it with a real sense of play so it never feels creepy the way others can come across. I have to mention that you should also check out the great recent films of Willian H. and Mason on Elegant Angel (warning though, you won't dig the early Mason films which are very rough). I agree with this also. When people discuss their favorite Evil Angel directors, his name is often left out. I think he is one of the most consistent directors they have, and his work is becoming more and more recognizable. I think Rocco is slowly slipping and Christoph is filling his spot.
Personally, I don't care too much for Nacho Vidal's films (Evil Angel), but he's still very solid as a director with the she-male/euro-sex he does. Everyone else from JJV and EA are fantastic in my view.

i think that Nacho's TS stuff is really good. He tends to overdo it with weird visual effects sometimes, or at least in the ones that I've seen. Other than that, they're very good. I feel the same way....pretty much anything from EA (or JJV) is already worthy of watching. Anabolic, too. [For my man Ivan]. Good job bro!

me too, he's probably my all time favourite director. i don't understand why his name gets left out when mentioning the top directors, but i guess like everything it's down to the individuals taste, like he puts a lot of eastern european women in his vid's and personally i think they're some of the hottest women in the world, but i've read some negative comments on this forum saying that most of them have a cold look in their eyes and things like that, i disagree with that. anyway much respect to christoph for keeping my dvd collection stacked very high
Even though I've always loved your movies, I have to say this really impresses me. I really like to see directors taking the time to respond to us ordinary folks. I always god a really great vibe from you Christoph and I think your posts on this board (even if they are kind of infrequent) reflect that you're not just a great director but also a really down to earth guy. Here's hoping that you get all the respect and success you deserve in the future.
