I've thought DAC's other attempts at features were weakened by very low budgets but this looks pretty well shot and sex promises to be very hot as well, judging from the trailer. As usual DAC shows impeccable taste in picking the smoking hot Asa Akira to star. The first Fashionistas did have a good plot and character development, and was shot on 35 mm film, but the sex scenes were still long and intense. If you took out all the sex scenes, The Fashionistas would run a respectable 90 to 120 minutes, but with the sex scenes, it is about 4 hours and 40 minutes long. I think Tricia once wrote somewhere on ADT that John envisioned people watching it like they watch TV mini-series, a little at a time over several days. Shot on film, by the time he was done, he had so much footage he had to release them as 2 parts. But they run as one movie (pre-DVD era 1992).
