Anyone know what Excalibur is like for foreign orders? Are they reliable and do they have any nasty habits, like Jaded's thing about not sending the sleeve with the DVD case. (???)

Can't comment personally as I've never used them, but there have been a number of posts here over the years about Excalibur, not wholly positive I should say.
Try this one or this one, for example.

Okay....Excalibur's not the way to go. Thing is I'm after THIS title and there aren't many dealers selling it. So, what dealer out of the ones on the list is the best, if any?

Mojo,
Excalibur is very cheap in some cases,
if you link through from IAFD, you pay even less.
I have placed 3 orders up till now, without serious problems.
Just give them a tryout.

I'm from America so I can't help with international, but if they ship to your country I've had extremely great experiences with TLA Video. Hope that helps.

The only one I've used there is Adult DVD Now. Haven't shopped there for a year or two but they certainly have been good in the past.

Same could be said by using the price search here at ADT and getting kickbacks and coupons!

Thanks for posting this topic Mojo. I've been wanting to rant about Eacalibur for a few days now but wasn't sure where to post it.
I ordered 5 discs from Excalibur back in late September. After placing my order I received a confirmation email and they asked me to let them know when I had received my first disc. The first part of my order, one disc, arrived on the 18th October. So far so good.
I emailed Excalibur to inform them that my disc had arrived and they replied to say that the remainder of my order would be dispatched on the 9th November.
I emailed them to ask why they were waiting three weeks to dispatch the remainder of my order and this is what they said.
"Your items are being shipped out to you over time in an effort to prevent any possible delays or confiscation by your customs department."
This statement is illogical. How can waiting a further 3 weeks to dispatch the remainder of my order "prevent any possible delays" and how can it help to prevent confiscation by customs.
I am missing something here? Perhaps others can enlighten me.

Gof.
1. You're right; waiting the extra time won't effect what happens once they reach England. If anything they're MORE at risk of going missing because of Christmas looming.
2. Customs wouldn't confiscate your disks unless it's kiddie porn, snuff porn, rape porn and maybe animal porn.
3. My father and brother recently went to the States. On going into the States they had to have photo and finger print checks, but on return they barely knew they'd even gone through customs! Scary really on terrorism basis, but on the basis of your disks getting through without being checked it looks really hopeful.

Gof, you're absolutely right to be annoyed about this. Maybe, giving Excalibur a chance, they think that if a bunch of disks are shipped with boxes all in one go, then they're more likely to be examined by customs. If that's the case, then they're wrong but at least they're trying. More likely, it's an exercise in "creative writing"...

What, are you saying they're conmen or simply they don't have the disks at the moment?
