I am in the process of picking up some classic 80's DVD films from Excalibur Films
I noticed that lt's say under the manufacture WET VIDEO they offer a repackaged
Excalibur version but it's NEW!
Has anyone ever purchased DVD'S from Excalibur Films in this format before, if
so what was your experience and what was the quailty of the product.

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to but I have bought some of Excalibur's DVD-R releases of OOP xxx from the 70s. The discs are fine and the quality is usually acceptable but I did experience some less than great customer service when a disc I ordered arrived damaged and my emails asking about a replacement copy went unanswered.

If you are commenting on a line that looks like this "PKG: Excalibur Films" that means it is on a DVD-R created by Excalibur Films and the quality will be that of the VHS they are using as a master.

I've bought a bunch of the type of DVDs you're talking about from EXCALIBUR and the quality is usually pretty good. It's not as sharp a picture as today's stuff but it's usually on the level of a new VHS tape movie made from that era.

Excalibur has done that with mixed reviews over the years. They are basically just VHS tapes put on dvd. No extras at all. Some of the stuff they have is obscure and is basically the last place you will find certain films. I used to say 'If Excalibur doesn't have it, it's probably gone for good.' That was before others started re-releasing old films though.
