That's one question I have had for a while...was WLT not making money? Given the state of the genre right now, I'm guessing he saw some signs that made him leave it alone.
Based on my research, that is partly to blame, but I think he partially disproved that when he made Blacked so profitable. My guess is that he also bumped heads with management RK, which prompted him to launch his own company.
The other issue is that he sold his stake in Vixen long before the launch of Slayed, so any creative vision he might have brought to the table was long gone by the time Vixen finally decided to dip their toes into the genre. KGB is doing his own thing, but I think we would have been in a different place if Lansky had launched Slayed.
Anywho, back to talking about Excogi. Hoping it gets better, it's the little underdog at this point.

Aah, management disagreement is a good bet. Leave it to ego to ruin a good thing, for sure. I don't follow you about the success of Blacked and how that points to whether WLT was making money though. I was thinking maybe he started to notice a dip in GG subscribers back then before it got to the point where it is now.
What would you like to see different Excogigirls-wise?
Sorry if I was unclear, but my point on Blacked was that it was a runaway success despite the industry's struggle. So I think it's less about the market and more about producing a quality product that people want. WLT was probably doing fine, but overall, I think his track record proves that its current status likely didn't matter.
Thoughts on the most recent Excogi scene? Based on his current lack of engagement and very halfhearted scene description, I'm really starting to wonder if Steve is losing interest in the site altogether....

I thought the scene was incredibly average and yeah, Steve hasn't bothered with a description, nobody's bothered to comment (or Steve hasn't put them up yet), it really is pointless.

I mean, you're not wrong as far as there hasn't been a ton of new girls recently; there have been a couple. If that's the main draw for you, it makes sense to cancel and maybe try again later.
I'm just in it for the quasi-unscripted sex between people who have never done it with each other before.
My current reduced enthusiasm is due to something hard to control; I am looking for chemistry/interactions like the Roxanne/Trinity shoot. That can be difficult to manifest. I will say as far as personal preference, I don't see too much of this X-factor in the likes of Britney, Kelsey, and Megan, who all appear alot. Megan is ok; her performances are more attractive than when the site launched. Still missing an X-factor though, in my opinion. With Trinity and Roxanne supposedly set to shoot more, I think there's a greater chance of hot content ahead.
My other issue is that the list of acts to shoot in the list of positions gets kind of rote after a while. I'd like them to try for a little bit more dynamism/further unscripted approach. This would likely necessitate some confidence and steering of the show from the leading girl to kind of set her on flow as it comes to her, but that might be asking a lot. But if any girl who has appeared so far can deliver a more off-the-cuff fun sexual experience and maybe discover some instant sex chemistry with a random girl, it would be Trinity and Roxanne.
About this week's shoot: I thought it was pretty ok
Lezzyist - I forgot to answer what I thought was missing. I pretty much agree with all of this. I tried to express a bit of that in telling Steve, that maybe he should let the girls figure out how the shoot should flow on the fly. I think what you've said about the camera finding ways around it as they do their thing more naturally is super important. I think you should take this to the Excogigirls comments.

I would say at least about this site that the fake and stupid noise isn't as bad as the other sites, but it is trending that way and will get there.
