Sarajevo from Extreme Associates has no audio except for the last scene. That sucks. The picture is ok, which isn't normal for their older releases. Saw some of their newer releases, they are great from the technical side.
The problem is, that I bought it last year and don't know the online-store anymore. If someone from Extreme Associates is reading this: Is there a way to replace it? Would be great cause I think it's a great title from Zupko!
Ramsey think you're right. It's a shame what they have done with their older releases. Hope they will re-release some of them, cause their new releases are great. Just saw 'Big Fat F.N. Tits #4' which comes in a very good picture quality on DVD-9 with a great bonus scene.
I have bought well over 20 VHS & DVD's from Extreme. When I did have a problem, no questions asked they have replace it. They have a toll free number, call them or check their site for the mailing address.
Well folks its too bad you got dvds without sound because if you did have sound you would have noticed that I played classical piano throughout the whole movie. We later re-recorded the classical piano for movie sound. I suspect you may have a bootleg copy or maybe someone screwed up really bad. You need to get a good copy so you can experience it yourself. It was one of the most unique projects I've ever done as an actor.
truth is, i probably have the email in my mailbox, but it has been loaded due to the month and a half without a webmaster. send an email to webmaster@extremeassociates.com tomorrow and give me all the details and i will see what i can do for you. much apologies for your DVD problem, and any delay in getting it solved.
If there is a problem with missing audio tracks, my guess is that the title in question was authored by the crappy company (which I briefly worked for) that snagged Extreme's DVD authoring business by offering the lowest prices -- unforunately nobody on either end was bothering to Q.C. the master before duplication. Same thing happened to my "Asianatrix" from Extreme -- when I got one, I was incredulous that one entire side of the stereo mix was not there!
That fly-by-night company has since gone out of business, and I don't know about the Extreme titles but certainly the Evolution titles of which I've seen DVDs boast excellent authoring and reproduction.

@Rob Longshot Great to hear from you. Drop the mail again to webmaster@extremeassociates.com. Hope you could do something for me, cause it's a great title like many others from Extreme. The only problem is the technical quality of some of the older releases!
I emailed DVD_freak back on this and yes, it is a problem with all of the copies. it is unfortunately not a title that has been re-released yet, but it may be eventually.
As a side note i must say that all of the new Extreme DVD releases are excellent quality.
Hey Brett, good to see ya here! The company in question was called Digital X, though I think they operated under another name, too ... they were out in Agoura Hills. They could do a good job when they felt like it -- they did the DVD pacakge and authoring for Metro's LES VAMPYRES, and it turned out pretty good ... but generally speaking, they just specialized in undercutting the next guy.
Good luck with CHEW MY SPEW! It's a friggin' digusting title, man, but considering how talented you are, I'm betting it'll be pretty damn good!
I stand corrected, Rob -- believe me, II didn't wanna give Digital X ANY props, for various reasons -- I just remember that being one of the few titles there was an actual attempt at Q.C. on, and much talk that this would be their "calling card" product ... just goes to show, I guess.
