Her theme for the weekend was weed, as you can see in the photos. Miami got very lucky as Jules booked Kristina about two weeks prior to come to the show and sign for him. I'm very grateful to him for bringing her back this year. It always amazes me when I see a show appearance list and Kristina Rose isn't on it. She is one the best girls in the industry to have sign for an adult company. The fans love her and she genuinely loves meeting the fans and interacting with them. She's always smiling, laughing and having fun. Her line was never huge but there was always someone at her table to see her. She still feature dances and since she lives in the area it's cheaper to book her since there's no airfare or hotel to pay for, so she's gotten a few bookings around town. Always a pleasure to see. As I as adjusting the settings on my camera she was kind enough to be my test model.  After I had set my camera down, Adrenalynn picked it up and snapped this pic of Isis. I think it's a pretty good shot considering she didn't adjust the lens focus or the focal range. She just picked up the camera, framed the shot and pressed the shutter. [Link] |

Her moaning in her scenes is atrocious. It's so obviously fake and she repeats the same grunts & groans over and over again like a car alarm. However, she does have a very voluptuous figure, a beautiful face, long legs and a sultry look. Add to that she's the only dark skinned Indian woman in the adult industry to my knowledge. Since I have weakness for exotic women, I always find self drawn to her scenes despite her less than stellar acting skills. They were quite the cast of characters, especially James who kept picking up his camcorder and interviewing the girls as they were talking with fans. I think the biggest difference between AEE and Exxxotica is the hiring format. In Vegas the companies rent the booths and hire the girls to sign on their behalf. At Exxxotica, most of the girls don't get an appearance fee and only make money by selling merchandise. A few companies like BangBros or AEBN hire girls to work their booths, but the vast majority are not compensated for appearing. Hence the reason merchandise sales are so important. Add to that, many of them have to pay for their own airfare and hotel. The girls also have to buy the DVDs they sell from the companies that make, they don't get them for free. Heck, Derek at LA Direct even charges the girls for the 8x10s they sell. Even though the flyers promote his company as much as the girls themselves. There is a two-inch wide bar running the length of the photo that says "LA Direct Models" in big letters. Meaning 25% of the 8x10 you buy is an advertisement for LA Direct Models. So not only is he not paying for advertising, the fans are indirectly paying him to advertise his company. Travel costs are the main reason I've never been to AEE. Airfare, hotel room prices and even admission are double what they are for Jersey. [Link] |

Another issue I've noticed is lot of the girls, not all but a lot, either don't know how or just don't bother to put any effort in to making a sale. The just quote prices and that's it. I cannot count the number of times I've witnessed the following conversation: "Hi! It's nice to meet you. I've been a fan of yours for years! I love your movies. Can I get a photo with you?" "Thanks. Photos cost $10." "Oh, OK." Then the guy turns and walks away. What she should say is: "Thanks you soo much! It's so nice to meet you - I love my fans! A photo with me is is $10 but if you get a DVD or 8x10, you get a photo for free!" Remember, these girls are selling a product just like any retail store in America. They can't just sit back expecting the fans to throw money at them. I'm not saying they should badger the fans like a used car salesmen, but they have to be willing to put in the effort to make the sale. Especially, when there are 100 other girls at the show also trying to get that sale from that same fan. You have stand out from the competition. Like I said before, not all of the girl are like this. Most of the bigger name girls have learned to do this, which is why they tend to do better sales wise at the shows. I just find it amusing when a girl will sit at her table for hours on end just quoting prices instead of selling. Then at the end of the day when she's hardly moved any merchandise she'll say how the shows sucks and the fans don't want to buy anything. [Link] |
