Victory Tradeshow Management staged the first of three Exxxotica shows at the Miami Beach Convention Center on May 14-16, 2010. It was also the fifth anniversary of it being held in this great beach town.
As you pass through the main hall entrance, the general and VIP admission lines are placed side-by-side. Last year, the VIP admission was off to the right which takes you right into the VIP lounge & Bedroom. Through the doors, you will find your usual pink carpeting and Exxotica ladies giving your show bag. There seem to be more Exxxotica hotties this year and they are found on the various beds, swing set, and stripper-pole stages found around the hall.
Major exhibitors that were present included Adam & Eve, BangBros, Bluebird Films, Clips4Sale, HotMovies, Jules Jordan, LA Direct, Vivid, and XBIZ/XFANZ.
For those fans that been to previous Miami Beach shows can notice the smaller sized podiums and posters setup. For the major sponsors, their booths were definitely smaller. Most of them did not have a private area for their talent. For the Fantasy Island area, it was the same set-up as last year. A circle of podiums with a private enclosed area in the middle. The rest of the hall is filled with a variety of vendors and small businesses with some talent appearances here and there.
For those with their VIP bracelets, the Exxxotica VIP Lounge was much better arranged than last year. You got three small stages, two with chains arranged around and one caged. The cash bars were found on the left and far left areas. DJ music was in the back center. There was more sitting available and if you were a single hottie or couple, the Bedroom was on your right.
The Sex App Shop Entertainment Stage did their usual show routine which included The Dating Game, Family Feud, Everything You Want to Know About Porn, the Ms. Exxxotica Competition, the Sassy Assy Fashion Show, I Wanna Be a Porn Star, How Deviant Are You?, and RubberDoll. Of course all it takes is a MC, some free DVD's, t-shirts, and other goodies, and the fans come running.
Overall, it was a well-attended event. As usual, Saturday was the busiest day. One likely fan complaint was the lack of information regarding talent schedules. You had to ask the staffers when they were showing up. It was like playing the odds that the next time you were going around you may finally find your favorite porn star there signing and posing for photos.
As usual with these types of shows, the talent appearances and the Exxxotica Hotties appreciate your tips and donations. You will always find fans willing to fork over a few dollars and those that try to sneak away or act oblivious. Also, if you plan to ask a talent or hottie to take a photograph with you, do not walk away when they ask for tips, it's rude. One talent shall remain nameless for trying to charge fans for taking photos of her (not with her, but just herself). Honestly, I don't think that arrangement can work.
Also, I would like to give props to Brooke Banner (her first Exxxotica show and back after a year's hiatus), Sophia Lynn (her first and back after two years), Joslyn James, her first show since AEE 2008), Jill Kelly (her first appearance at the show), and Breanne Benson (her first time too).
