She had a matching Raiders hat to go with the jersey but she had curled her hair the night before and it was to volumized to fit under the hat. As I've said before, my dream job would be to be her real life sidekick. If could I'd move to LA and be the Robin to her Batman. She's like a human firecracker, just full of explosive energy. Always smiling, always having fun. Without a doubt, one the girls I get most excited to see at a show. A drop dead gorgeous girl who's wildcat between the sheets with an ever expanding & evolving sexuality. She's done more this past year than most girl do in their entire careers. Off-screen she's still a normally girl from New York who loves Hello Kitty and drives a Prius. She had the best deal of the weekend on Sunday. The only item she had left was "Insatiable 1." She selling them for $10 each with a free autographed 8X10 AND a free photo with her. Hell that wasn't just a deal, that was a STEAL!! I informed her that she severely undercharging but she just wanted to get rid of all of her merchandise so she wouldn't have to carry back to LA. I honestly believe that before her career is done, Asa Akira will be one of the all-time greats. Her name will be mentioned in the same breath as legends like Nina Hartley, Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, Jenna Jameson and Jenna Haze. Let me say that I mean no disrespect to all the other girls working today. There are many great performers out there doing some amazing scenes. It's just that when I look at Asa, I have this gut feeling about her (kind of like how people knew Kobe Bryant* was going to be Hall of Famer early in his career.)* [Link]

She had been sick earlier in the week before the show and her cold had re-emerged on Sunday. The long hours at the show didn't help any. She powered through it and worked her table anyways. I offered to let her skip the daily photo session but she insisted I take her picture. Sarah takes the term "dedication" to a whole new level. Luckily after the show she was going home to Long Island for a few days to rest and recuperate. A wonderful girl who's is great to her fans and really enjoys what she does. Didn't get to talk to him long as he had a few fans waiting for him but he's a cool guy. He's about 5'9" which may be average height in the real world but is actually extremely tall for a male pornstar. He's also built like a brick shithouse without an ounce of body fat on him. After doing a little homework, I was stunned to find out he's 41 years-old and has been in the business since 1994!! He looks like he's in his early thirties at most. I asked him what's he's been up to and he's been busy as usual shooting scenes. I remarked that the biggest complaint fans have about him is that he seems to be in every movie because he works so much. He grinned and replied that it's a good problem to have. his work volume is no surprise as he's an excellent performer and the girls love him. I've never heard a girl complain about working with Mr. Marcus. That's one of the reasons he does so many girls' first IR scenes. I only have this one photo of her I took with my iPhone. When I checked my camera's memory card I was shocked to find out I had neglected to take any photos of her with it. I congratulated an complimented her on an amazing performance in Elegant Angel's "Kagney Linn Karter is Relentless." While I still think Asa Akira is the front-runner for Performer of the year, I believe Kagney is hot on her trail. She too is having an amazing year and has come so far as a performer this past year. So far she's done 1st Anal, 1st IR, 1st DP, 1st DV AND 1st DA!! God only knows where she'll go from here. I asked her why she shaved the side of her head and she replied she just wanted to do something different & figured she'd give it a try. You can't tell in the photo but it wasn't shaved bald. It was like a crew cut on the side and she had a design cut into it as well. I do wish I had gotten a photo of it. She had a falling out with Joanna Angel this past year and has struck out on her own. She runs her site all by herself and is not part of a network. So far she's doing very well. She doesn't shoot as much as she'd like to since companies won't hire her because of the tattoos. She did recently shot a scene and land the cover for Digital Sin's Geek Girls: The Gamers. A movie about, surprisingly, geeky girls who like video games! I do wish she could shoot more as I really like her. She one of the most normal girls in the industry. She likes video games, comic books, cartoon and having sex! Not to mention there is a serious shortage of redheads working, so we need everyone we can get. [Link]

I've had her on my Pornstar Bucket List for a while now, so it was great to finally meet her. Can't believe this is her 11th year in the business all ready. It's been a busy years for her: she had a baby earlier this year with her new boyfriend and took a break from shooting. She has been writing & directing a lot this year with several movies coming out. I was pleasantly surprised to to find she is back to performing and I picked up a copy of her last movie "The Escort." She looked amazing, especially considering she's a thirty-two year-old women who just gave birth eight months ago. I only have this one photo because when I asked if she minded posing for some photos she said sure, but she didn't get up out of her chair. She just sat there and smiled, so I snapped a couple quick pics and thanked her for her time. Overall, a beautiful girl and was pleasant to speak with. [Link]

I think the biggest problem fans have with girls signing with contract studio is two thing: A) The girls don't shoot anywhere nearly as often as they do freelance, so there are less scenes to watch. B) The contract studios take forever to release new material. Not just Vivid, but all them. Digital Playground waited more than two years to release Stoya's first IR scene. The world is a fast-paced place, not just porn but life in general. These studios need to learn to be a little quicker on their feet if they expect to keep up. A very nice girl with a soft voice and such mesmerizing eyes. I saw her feature dance Saturday night at Taboo in Linden, New Jersey. Unfortunately, Like Teagan Presley & Alexis Texas's show, the local zoning laws really restricted her performance. The stage was once again surrounded by the bar and she was only allowed to strip down to her bra & panties. She did the best she could and I'm still glad I went to see her. Once again there were more pornstars in the audience than on stage with Kelly Divine, Tay Stevens & Gianna Michaels there at the club to support Sophie. I tried staying for her second show but it was past 2am and I was beginning to doze off in my seat so I left early so I wouldn't fall asleep behind the wheel. No one in the adult industry has been busier this year than she has. In the past year she and her husband Ray have expanded their website network, XXXFastPass, from just 3 sites to exactly 20 websites!! All in under a year! They didn't just sign the girls but they actually got their sites launched too. 17 sites are currently up and operational. The final three are under construction, two of which are scheduled to launch next month. Please note they don't farm out the work. Nina and Ray do all the programming and coding themselves. Feeling that this wasn't enough of a challenge, Nina partnered with Lexi Lamour to start a feature dancing agency called Feature Elite. they all ready represent over 30 girls including big names like jessica drake, Stormy Daniels, Dyanna Lauren, Francesca Le and many more! As if building 20 website AND starting a feature dancing agency from scratch were not enough, Nina & some of her XXXFastPass girls signed on to be spokesmodels for the new .XXX domain. So far they've made appearances at a industry seminar in Fort Lauderdale last month, had their own booth at eXXXotica New Jersey and just this past weekend attended the World Powerboat Championship in Key West. Nina wasn't at the show on Friday because she was filming a Dot.XXX commercial that took 15 hours! On Saturday she was there but was having a stressful day, constantly on her cell phone talking business and dealing with various issues. Things finally calmed down for her on Sunday and I was able to chat with her for a little bit. I had seen her at feature dance appearance two months ago in Miami, so it didn't take long to get caught up to speed. Nina is one of my all-time favorites and one the most beautiful women to do adult movies. This crappy cell phone pic does NOT do her justice. I never got the chance to take any photos with my DSLR because she got pulled away from me to handle more business affairs. I'm still glad to have been able to see her, even if only briefly. [Link]

I want to thank everyone for reading this thread all the way through and to those who commented. Just knowing that you guys enjoy reading these show reports makes them worth doing. This year's eXXXotica New Jersey was a great show with record breaking attendance of over 28,000 people! Despite not having such marquee names as Jesse Jane (who was feature dancing in Baltimore) & Jenna Haze (this was the first eXXXotica she has ever missed). The show organizers more than made up for it with having over 100 other girls, including the first east coast appearance by Belladonna in years. In addition, stage shows form old favorites Like "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Porn" & "How Deviant Are You?" to new shows like the Pretty Things Peepshow with the fire-breathing, sword-swallowing Heather Holiday with guess star Stoya doing her aerial ring performance. Not to mention Belladonna doing her Cirque de Bella silk aerial performance. The seminars were too numerous to list; there was literally something for everyone. I want to thank Steph & Drew for allowing me to represent ADT at both the New Jersey & Miami shows this year. Thanks to AnimeNut, whose photography tips have greatly help me improve my pictures (due to prior commitments he was unable to attend this year's NJ show but hopefully will make a triumphant return next year!) To all the girls who attended the show: it was a pleasure seeing you all and thanks for coming all the way to NJ to see us fans. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. Kudos to Evil Angel & Jules Jordan for being the only major studios to have their own booths. Other studios had contract girls appearing but none had their own booth. Special shout-out to Jules Jordan for having booths at three separate eXXXoticas. In NJ, he didn't just have a booth, he had a HUGE booth. It was one of the largest of the entire show and he staffed it with not one, not two... but FIVE big name pornstars (Kristina Rose, Phoenix Marie, Jada Stevens, Priya Rai & Abella Anderson.) In a time when the industry is struggling and companies are cutting costs left and right, Jules is still spending his hard-earned money to travel the country and bring the biggest pornstars with him to meet the fans. 2012 will be a interesting year for eXXXotica. They've announced on Twitter that there will be four eXXXotica shows next year. The catch is 3 shows will be at repeat locations and one will be replaced with a new location. They have not said which location is being replaced or where the new show will be. Being NJ is their biggest & best show, it's safe bet to say it's safe. Chicago got it's first show this year, and did very well for a 1st year show. I can see it growing in to a large show like NJ someday, so I don't think they'll be abandoning Chicago. Which leaves either Miami or LA. Having attended the Miami show, it had great attendance with over 20k people but the crowd was very uninspired and lacked energy & enthusiasm. The people in Miami & LA are used to celebrities, pro athletes & movie stars, so a bunch of pornstars coming to town doesn't impress them. In Chicago & NJ they don't get a lot of adult related events so they are much more excited & appreciative to see their favorite pornstars in those cities. Being that I live in South Florida, I'm crossing my fingers it's the LA show that gets the axe so that I may continue to attend two eXXXotica shows next year. For the first time, there was an official after-party scheduled for Sunday night. It was just an informal get together and not a party, party. I walked over to the Sheraton a little after 8pm and the place was dead. I decided to hang out and see if got busier as the night went on. They did a little trivia game with the winner getting a free VIP pass to next year's show. This took a little over an hour. As it was going on the crowd didn't get much bigger, I considered leaving but a couple porn girls arrived, so I decided to stick it out a little longer. Afterward, the DJ fired up the karaoke machine and a few civilian guys sang some songs. This went on for a while and again I thought about leaving as the party seemed stagnated. Nothing was happening and none of the pornstars were singing. Just as I was putting on my coat a group of half a dozen porn girls showed up and I once again decided to wait. [Link]

She loves karaoke and wanted to sing herself. Unfortunately, she couldn't because her voice was completely gone after three days at the show. The rest of the night was just hanging out at the bar, everyone having a few drinks and watching the end of the Steelers-Ravens game. Pornstars really know how to let loose and have a good time. Anyone who gets naked and has sex on camera for the world to see, usually is not someone with a lot of inhibitions. The best part was it didn't matter if you were a pornstar or a civilian, everyone was hanging out together. It was a fun way to wind down a long and tiring weekend. I'm very glad I didn't leave early as the karaoke/dance party was one of the most fun events of the whole weekend. [Link]
