My apologies to everyone for the long delay in getting this thread started. I once again caught the dreaded "convention cold" and was sick as a dog for about a week and a half. Next was the holiday madness of Thanksgiving, immediately after which one of the supervisors quit, so work has been hectic. It's been a busy month. This year's New Jersey show broke the record for fan attendance of any eXXXotica expo ever! The big news of the weekend is that next year, the new show location will be in Denver. Since the expo will be in Colorado, the organizers have arranged to have marijuana dispensaries at the show selling 100% legal recreational marijuana! Many of the girls in the adult industry smoke weed, so they are all very excited about this. Without further ado, let us begin...
I arrived at the exposition center right at 5pm on Friday when the show opened and there was all ready a line. Two lines in fact, one for General Admission and one for VIP Admission. They were both so long they had to arch around the room in a circle to fit everyone inside the lobby. Here a video clip I took that will give you a better look at the length of the lines. After picking up my press pass at the registration booth, I had to wait in the one of the lines in order to get my wristband from the door guys. The wait was much shorter than I expected and I reached the front in roughly five minutes.

First up we have busty, brunet babe Sheridan Love in a killer Harley Quinn cosplay. She had a matching hammer too which is not in the photos. After years of G/G and solo work she is now doing B/g scenes! She started out with Score in June 2015 and had an exclusive one year contract that expired this past summer. Since then she has been shooting for multiple companies like Brazzers, Naughty America, Elegant Angel, Burning Angel and Lethal Hardcore. At the CE Talent booth, I officially met big booty babe Kelsi Monroe. I say officially met because I met once before and didn't know it. It was at a Dunkxchange in Miami in January 2015. She was appearing there with Veronica Rodriguez and Diamond Kitty. I didn't know who Kelsi was at the time nor that she was in the adult industry. I thought she was just a regular model hired to work the booth. I really like her. Very upbeat and high energy. She seems to really love having sex on camera and she does Anal, ATM and IR. Surprisingly, she said she's been in the business for nearly four years! She said she's going on 25 and did her first scene right when she turned 21. At long last we have the return of the Dirty Girl who grew up to be a Slutwoman, the one and only Kristina Rose! I was ecstatic to see her name on the show appearance list as I had not seen her in person since the eXXXotica Fort Lauderdale show in June 2013. Kristina's always been one of my favorite girls to see at a show. She genuinely enjoys meeting the fans and is a natural at interacting with them. The big news this year is that she has returned to shooting B/G scenes after nearly four years off! She stopped shooting in the Summer of 2012 after the Mr. Marcus syphilis incident and simply never came back. She finally decided to return this February and has shot for multiple companies Like Evil Angel, Naughty America, Brazzers, HardX, DarkX and others. She said she's happy being back and has had only one scene she didn't enjoy. She especially loved working with new guy Jordi Porn, the young, Spanish contract performer. So much so, they've been hanging out together off camera as seen in Kristina's Twitter page. Also making a long awaited return to New Jersey was former performer Trina Michaels. She stopped shooting scenes a few years ago. Since then she's been focusing her wrestling career, performing in Florida, Georgia, Texas and California for the smaller independent wrestling leagues. I asked if she still featured danced and she replied she does but it's been awhile. Since she doesn't shoot movies anymore she has a hard time getting agents and clubs to book her, despite her crossover appeal with porn/wrestling fans. A pleasure to see Trina Michaels again. She's was a favorite of mine during her shooting days and she's wonderful to see in person.
At the Bad Dragon booth, I was able to see Megan Rain briefly during a lull in the line to see her. I asked to do an interview with her, but she asked if we could do it later instead. Sadly, I never had another opportunity to get see her as there was always someone at her table to meet her.
Rising superstar Keisha Grey rocking her Blacked one-piece and white fishnets. She's been busy as usual, shooting up a storm. I strongly believe she'll be a Performer of the Year winner someday. Beautiful girl that's a great performer. I really like the expression on her face in the first photo. It looks like something out of a fashion magazine.
G/G star Jelena Jensen showing off her new multi-colored hair at the Bad Dragon booth. She's been wanting to do this to her hair for a while, but couldn't since her all natural look is her bread-&-butter when it comes to getting booked for scenes. She's taking a few months off from shooting which is why she took the leap and dyed her hair. Don't worry she's not retiring, just taking a small sabbatical. While she isn't shooting for production companies, she added she will still shoot some amateur style scenes for her website so her fans get get fresh content from her. Certainly one of the most beautiful all natural girls to ever shoot hardcore porn.
Working her own booth was new MILF performer Tylo Duran. She's a swimsuit/lingerie/nude model who decided to make the jump in to hardcore. Just started shooting this year and has worked for Score, Brazzers, and Reality Kings. Blond tan and big boobs, she could have a successful career as a MILF/cougar.
Back at Bad Dragon was the busiest girl of the show, Abella Danger sporting her Vixen.com underwear. She had a line all day every day whenever she was on the show floor. I didn't actually get to talk to her, just saw her briefly to snap a few photos before she went back to meeting fans. She's certainly one of the front runners for Performer of the Year.
Blond beauty Phoenix Marie giving off a Baywatch-esque vibe and showing off her super-strength lifting a fan for a photo. She said she had a lot of fans asking if she was retired since she doesn't have many new DVDs out on the market. This is due to studios going more online streaming and cutting back on DVD production. Plus Phoenix said this year has been a slow one for her. Directors wanted her for scenes but she was very selective, only shooting stuff she really wanted to do and not shooting just for the sake of shooting. She added that next year she is planning to shoot more and may even lower her rate a little to shoot for wider variety of companies. She also wants to finally shoot her own showcase movie as she's tired of saying every year she's going to do it, but it winds up not happening. Hopefully, things will work out this year and we'll all get that Phoenix Marie showcase movie we've been waiting for. A pleasure to see Phoenix Marie as always. One of my all-time favorite girls to see at a show.
Two-time AVN Female Performer of the Year Tori Black looking lovely as ever in a sheer lace top and green skirt. It's been business as usual for her: feature dancing, hosting, camming and being a mom. While the line to see her has shortened the longer she's been retired, there was always at least a couple fans at her table. She was dancing that night at Sapphire's in Manhattan with three other girls. More on that later.
Wicked contract star Asa Akira in her signature B&W colors. Her popularity has not waned as there was a crowd all ready lined up to see her before she had even finished setting up her table. I chided her for always wearing black at her public appearances, teasing her that there are more then two colors in the rainbow. Sure enough all three days of the expo she wore black with some white thrown in here and there. Her big news this year was the release of her second book "Dirty Thirty: A Memoir" another memoir of her life in the adult industry. She told me she is working on her third book due out in 2018, which she is also the editor. It's an anthology of erotic stories taken from real pornstars. In addition to shooting for Wicked, she's still feature dancing once a month and all ready has her entire 2017 booked for the year. I do hope she is scheduled for somewhere in the southeast U.S> as I've never seen her dance myself and I really want to see her before she stops dancing. Always a fun time speaking with Asa Akira.

A few tables down at Bad Dragon was blond beauty Mia Malkova in a sheer black lace dress with a white undergarment. Sadly, for the second year in a row, she politely turned down my request for an interview. She's becoming the Alex Grey to my Captain Jack. Hopefully, someday I'll be able to convince her to do a recorded interview with me.

I asked if she had any new movies coming out and she replied that she has not shot any movies at all this year for JJV. She couldn't give any more information as to why or what her current situation with JJV is. She will be at AVN in January signing at the Yummy booth. Jesse posted on Twitter that she is retired from the adult industry, but it wouldn't surprise me if she were to announce a return either at or after AVN, once her JJV contract has expired.
Over at the Inked Angels booth was the awesome Romi Rain wearing her faux leather jumpsuit from her "Deadly Rain" series for Brazzers. I had first met her this past August at a feature dancing appearance in Tampa. The Inked Angel booth was at the front of one of the main aisles closest to the entrance so the booth. This meant it was one of the first booths the fan came across when the entered the convention hall. Hence, Romi was very busy at her table all weekend. Luckily, I was able to see her during a lull in the waiting line. She was just as amazing as I remembered. It was such an egregious error by AVN to not nominate her for Performer of the Year this year.
Also at Inked Angels was Brooklyn Chase. She was rocking her new blond hair. While I think she pulls it off very nicely, I still prefer her as a brunette. She's only 5'2" but has a 32DD bust with 37" booty. Very curvy physique for such a short girl. While I had managed to snap a couple photos of her at AVN last January, I didn't have a chance to talk to her. She moved to Pennsylvania and now commutes to California to shoot scenes. Despite the fact she turned 30 this year, she surprisingly doesn't get cast much as a MILF/cougar. She does IR and creampies, but has only done one anal scene I can find. A very nice girl and very pleasant to speak with.
Over at LA Direct Models was brand new girl Katya Rodriguez. Why she was at their booth when she's with Society 15, I do not know. She's just starting out and is best known as Veronica Rodriguez's little sister. Whether they are full blooded sisters or step-sisters has yet to be determined. I don't know if she had even shot her first yet when I met her. You could tell she's a newbie as her modeling skills and posing ability were not nearly as refined as the other girls. We shall see if she has the same talent as her older sister.

She's come such a long way in just a over a year. from a BangBros contract girl most people had never heard of to one of the most popular girls working in the industry today. She is moving from Miami to Las Vegas in order to shoot more and save herself the cross country commute. Definitely a strong candidate for MILF of the year
Over at the VRod Productions booth was bootylicious blond babe Layla Price. She's one of those girl who flies under the radar. You don't hear much about her, but she shoots regularly and feature dances on a consistent basis. In fact, she was dancing on Friday & Saturday night at Club XXXV, a local strip club not far from the convention center. It's surprising that she's not a bigger star than she is as she does nearly everything: Anal, ATM, IR, DP, Double Anal, Double Vag, and she swallows. Certainly a girl worthy of consideration for Unsung Starlet.

New Arch Angel contract star Cali Carter in a very revealing bikini. I first discovered her at last year's expo when she was the trophy girl at the inaugural Inked Awards ceremony. To my surprise, she's been in the business for more than three years and has approximately one-hundred credits to her name. I will certainly be looking in to her previous work soon.

I didn't get to talk to her because of this, but I did manage to snag a photo.
At 8;30pm I took a break form the show floor and made my way up front to the seminar area for Asa Akira's book reading. She read a small section of her new book for ten minutes and then spent the next twenty minutes answering question from the audience about both the book and her career in general.
Here we have G/G performer and ADT forum poster Lily Cade in some sexy red lingerie. I really wanted to do an interview with her, but she was ill an her voice was shot before the show even started. hopefully, I'll see her again at another convention and get the chance to talk with her then.

If you want to see more of Allie make sure to request her to directors and companies, especially those you are a paid member of as they take request from paying customers more seriously than one from randoms fans.
My last stop of the night was to see supercouple Anikka Albrite & Mick Blue. I first met them here in New Jersey two years ago and seen them every year since. This year, in addition to appearing at the show, they were hosting one of the official after parties at the host hotel. I congratulated Mick on his second straight win as Male Performer of the Year at AVN last January. They been busy as usual, shooting,. producing, directing and Anikka is feature dancing as well. Their company, BAM Visions, which they started last year, is doing very well. In fact it received more than 30 nominations for the 2017 AVN Awards! I picked up a copy of their movie "Anikka's Anal Sluts 2", which features an All-Star cast including Anikka, Kristina Rose, Luna Star, Abella Danger, and Megan Rain. All scenes are B/G/G and all have anal. Definitely check it out if you haven't yet. Always a pleasure to see Anikka Albrite & Mick Blue. Two of the best performers working today and two great people to meet in person.
Day 1 - Epilogue As seen in the flyer, Sapphire's was having a brunette theme feature dancers on Friday night. While I had seen Tori Black and Adriana Chechik dance before, I'd never seen Darcie Dolce or Selena Santana, so I decided to make the trip. Unfortunately, due to road construction in Manhattan, I had to detour a few blocks out my route and arrived late at the club at approximately 1:10am. Darcie Dolce had just exited the stage right before I got inside, so I missed her show. Luckily, she was the opening act so I got to see the other three girls perform. Adriana Chechik was up second and came out in glittering, bedazzled white bikini. She was comfortable on stage as she was a house dancer before she started shooting movies. I do hope to see her perform solo one day. Next up was Latin beauty Selena Santana on a tiger stripe catsuit. Her show was slow and sensual She took her time slowly removing the catsuit and was very interactive with the fans sitting at the rail. a nice show by Selena. The finale and highlight of the night was superstar Tori Black who walked out on stage in one of the best costumes I've ever seen...

Now I know you're probably think that Slave Leia cosplay has been done to death and you're right, it has. The reason it blew me away was how perfectly she pulled it off. Tori is 5'10' tall, so her arms, legs and legs are much longer than the average woman, which makes her look more like a supermodel than a pornstar. The costume was perfectly proportion to her body and everything else like her hair and makeup were dead on. That collar with the chain link leash was the finishing touch to the costume. Her show was as great as I remembered. Fast dancing, some swinging on the pole, plenty of crowd interaction and even gyrating on the stage floor. If you ever have the chance to see Tori dance in person, I STRONGLY suggest you do not miss her! After the features were over, I went to the restaurant side of the club to wait for the meet-n-greet. There were a few other fans waiting all ready. After about half an hour, Archie, the LA Direct employee who acts as the girls' roadie/assistant/manager at these feature dance gigs, came out and inform the fans waiting that both Tori and Adriana were doing private dances and would be unavailable for at least another hour. Hearing this, I decided to leave and head back to Edison. It was a smart decision as my eyelids were getting heavy during the hour long drive. Had I stayed at Sapphire's, I would have seriously risked falling asleep behind the wheel. Even though I missed Darcie Dolce's show and the meet-n-greet was a bust, Tori Black's show in the Slave Leia costume made the whole night worthwhile. Over at Pornstar Tweet was I met Alana Luv. She's Russian by birth, but was raised mostly here in America. She spent a few years working at the Bunny Ranch as a legal prostitute.
