If you are calling, mention EXXXTACY 2010. If you go through the web, you should see the $109 rate. Even though one site mentions the rate is good for Fri and Sat, I have seen the $109 rate on Sun too. I've been trying to see if my ATF Taylor Wane will be at the show, but she hasn't replied to my e-mails. Hopefully she'll decide to come. Did they get the memo? :) Click to expand To be honest, I think part of the reason the Chicago scene hasn't picked up like NYC or Miami is that there really isn't a lot of networking going on. In the last week I've shot for both ropexpert.com and a new site coming soon called abducteddamsels.com When I shot with abducted damsels, their stated intent was to do stuff similar to rope expert, totally not knowing that Ron shoots all of his content within like 30 miles of them! There's a few legit companies, all thinking they're the only ones, right here in Chicago. I really hope they all show up and we can start networking, because it could seriously be the start of a greater movement if we all joined forces like some kind of super hero team of something... AEE is considered to be the largest gathering of the adult industry and is generally the first convention at the start of the year. Most of the major studios would take care of their travel and lodging expenses. I don't think I ever encounter any one asking for tips/donations at AEE. For Exxxotica shows at NY/NJ, Miami, and LA, most stars that do visit are paying out-of-pocket except for the big studios that come in (maybe some exception here and there) so naturally, they would ask for fees for signing autographs, posing with them, etc. You may find one entertainer charging for everything or find one that charges nothing except for buying her DVD's. In most cases, you will find a nice price sheet next to their table/podium. In these shows, you also get the exxxotica dancers around the complex, and they always appreciate some tips. For Erotica LA, also a mix of free versus fees. From the 2009 show, most of the big studios did not charge anything, the smaller ones charged a few bucks, and you may find those who are "independent" or local charging mostly for everything. I am not sure if PornoDan was referring to all entertainers at Exxxtacy or the Fuck a Fan booth itself. Also, it appears (according to the floor plan) that there will be dancers spread throughout the show (similar to Exxxotica) so be handy with any singles. In any case, just bring some cash, preferably lots of singles :) [Link]
