Falcon Studios has released an interesting-sounding project today, Falcon 1971. The movie, directed by Marc MacNamara, recreates classic Falcon Studios scenes with modern stars shot-for-shot.

The movie recreates scenes from 1979's Champs by the Falcon pseudonymous Bill Clayton. Johnny Donovan and Joseph Hart are featured in the new movie recreating Dick Fisk and Sky Dawson's scene from the original film.

Also featured are 1978's The Other Side of Aspen also by "Bill Clayton" with Matty West and Reese Rideout recreating Al Parker and Casey Donovan's scene.

1979's Upperclassman, also by Clayton, is next with Joseph Hart and Baxxx recreating Hal Drake and Mike Cole's scene.

Then Ro Reyes and Alexander Muller recreate Big Ben and Tom Manley's scene from 1977's 8mm loop Double Whammy, which was later released in the loop compilation by the same name in 1979.

Last, Ed Wiley and Bob Bishop's scene from the 1978 8mm loop Ramcharger, which was later released in the loop compilation by the same name in 1984, is recreated by Johnny Donovan and Ty Santana.

I'm not sure why Falcon went with the name Falcon 1971 since everything recreated in the movie is from the late 70s, but the concept is still a neat one.
