Unless the first pressing was a special edition, Fallen should have came in an oversized box that when opened up have feathers that fall out and inside the cutout houses the dvd that should include 4 discs, 3 for the movie and extras and a 4th disc for wicked content. I do know that studios do change the packaging to keep cost down as for the initial pressing usually has like the nice slipcovers and such. It also depends on where you purchased it from. I do know that adameve.com sells dvd's that don't include extra stuff. I ordered the special edition dvd rerelease of Wicked's "Flashpoint", and all of the pics of the dvd that I had seen had the movie housed in a nice oversized slipcase with a book of matches and such, but the one I received from adam & eve was just the plain dvd set with no nice packaging. I am sure that there are some Wicked reps crawling this forum so maybe they can elaborate about the packaging changes.

I though Jessica did fine, but that the movie as a whole kinda sucked. It was for too long (nearly 3 hours) and contained under 50 minutes of plot, much of which was very drawn out and dull.

I concur. I don't think I made it through to the end, at least not paying much attention.
Yeah, nice box though...

The one that my wife and I bought had feathers, etc. It was cool packaging.
We watched it, and we liked it a lot. I thought that jessica et. al. did just fine.

I thought it was excellent. I agree that it was too long, but that it was a problem of editing, not of what the editor was given to work with.
Jessica's first scene with Brad was a ball-buster.

All I can say is that while the editor certainly is to blame for letting the thing run so long, it's also the fault of the screenwriter for not creating a more complex script. The movie is simple at best.

I finally got around to watching this movie in full last night (with feathers fluttering all around me from the box!). It took me five months to find the four and a half hours or so necessary to watch the movie, the deleted scenes and bonus material in one sitting.
There were certainly some slow, drawn out, scenes but when I got to the end of the movie I could see why they were necessary. It is extremely difficult in porn features to build any kind of empathy for the characters. This was a film where a great deal of effort was taken to try and build this empathy both through the sex and the story. Whether it succeeded or not depends on individual tastes - I can see many viewers getting impatient and pissed off by the slower paced scenes.
I actually really enjoyed the movie as a whole, and even went so far as to think that there was a place for the deleted scenes in the main film .
But I agree that this film suffers from the problem that all US features do these days - the sex scenes are too long and the storyline is too light on!! I know we can all fastforward through the long sex scenes, but it is annoying and destroys the mood. I would like to see much more build-up and tease, and can really do without watching a 10-15 minute blow-job.
I know it mostly boils down to money and returns, but I think will and creativity also plays a big part in it. There is a disturbing lack of originality in US feature porn - perhaps a disease contracted from nearby Hollywood. For instance, I would like to see a porn studio buy the film rights to a popular erotic novel (perhaps instead of blowing money on the badly-shot private sex tape of some reality show contestant) and make a genuine effort to bring the story to life.
I also get frustrated with the big budget euro porn, which also has too high a sex versus story ratio and tends to spend all its money on exotic locations, fancy cars, and special effects, rather than on a good storyline and perhaps a few non-sex performers that can actually act in the supporting cast.
It is worth noting some of the Japanes features. I watched a parody of a manga/anime 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimaya", in which there was no sex for almost the first 40 minutes of the film - just a lot of exposition and character development. At first I thought I had made a mistake and ordered a G-rated live action soap opera (J-Dorama). But finally, when the first pixellated penii made their appearance, I realised I was watching a different kind of porn - one that cared about story and developing viewer empathy for the characters. The only US porn feature that I can recall having a similar style in the last 20 years was probably Dark Angels. The UK director Anna Span makes some interesting stuff where there is usually a long build-up to each sex scene that makes the sex that much more enjoyable to watch as you as the viewer feel that you "know" a little bit about the characters and why they are motivated to have sex with a total stranger within minutes of meeting them.
But, back to Fallen. On the whole, it was one of the best features I have seen in years. Brad Armstrong continues to be my favourite feature director, and Jessica Drake one of my favourite performers - you certainly couldn't have asked for her to get any dirtier, with lots of anal sex and a DP!!

I loved the film. When I am at the bunny ranch I end up watching porn, and usually because of the nature of the job, it is mine. I pick out some good features to watch every year, funny and drama. Usually my drama is Brads so this year I picked up Fallen. Maybe its the 18 year old girls watching in my bed next to me, but I personally enjoyed the movie alot! Knowing alot of the guys that worked on the film, I enjoyed the stories of how they shot the taxi cab "flying" scene etc. I enjoy complicated movies and how they made things come together :)As far as extras, it had alot of how it was made and behind the scenes etc, which I enjoy. This may not be what you meant though!
