I have, plenty of times. I guess others have too, because I've since seen descriptions on some DVDs stating that "all images on cover are actual screenshots from this DVD". Must've been in response to some complaints. Anyway, I find this infuriating. After all, the only thing we have to go on are the images presented on the box, so we should be able to trust them. It runs the gamut from, say, shots of girls looking right into the camera while in doggie or while giving a blowjob, when in fact they never look right at you in the film - it was just for the cover shots --- to some of the more brazen offenders, in my opinion, which are the box covers for old 70's or 80's films which have a post-70's or post-80's model/couple dressed up to look 70's or 80's, but aren't in the actual film... Or shots from scenes which may be in a particular video series , but aren't on this particular episode of the series... Of course I'm wiser to it now, but when I was younger I spent good money on some of these fraudulent pieces of shit, and I'm sure there are young people being duped by it today too. Just like the printed word, images on movie covers have a sort of implied legitimacy for most people, I would think. Another outrageous fraud are these digitally altered images on some of these "huge cock" compilations. Making [what are actually] average dicks look four or five inches thick . There it sits on the store shelf, seriously offered as a "huge dick" movie, with a legit pricetag, knowing full well that some putz is going to buy it under those pretenses , and then discover later that he's been had. That's pretty rotten. Isn't there a law against this kind of thing, or at least some sort of stigma against it in the industry? Anyway, just wanted to vent a little about it. Thanks for reading. - Dong [Link] |

With them, it's not pthe ictures that are faulty, it's the actual description of their film which they put on their web site and their movies. Claiming the cast to do things that they don't do in the film, like anal, DP, etc. And they do it so frequently. |
