Could someone please tell me why false eye-lashes are so pervasive in the industry?
Frankly, I'm getting really fed up with the usage of false eye-lashes in virtually every DVD I watch! It seems to go hand in hand with heavy make-up and together, it ruins the looks of these beautiful women - these brave young ladies who have so graciously allowed themselves to be defiled for our pleasure.
Whatever happened to the natural look?
Would shooting without caterpillars on one's eyelids be such a terrible thing?

Your taste influences your perspective. I like that look a lot of the time, so I don't see too much of it.
Things that you dislike but find hard to avoid will appear more common than they are, in my opinion.

This exact thing annoys me a lot. What's with the eyelashes? The girls in porn now are prettier than ever. The overdone makeup is also annoying, the point of make up is to enhance the natural look, not to add a totally different clownish layer of colors.
Directors, please get rid of the fake eyelashes.

I think its one of the only things a girl has that can change her look abit. Since they are exhibiting every possible inch of there flesh, any small amount of disguise they can use has got to help them feel a little more secure that no is going to see them in the supermarket and recognize them.
But I do wonder how much influence the director has on the amount and style of makeup in any scene? I think the features must have requirements, but how about the usual- all sex scenes? More non-water proof eye liner for gagging scenes?

Well, I'm a big fan of slutty make-up, especially on girls that are very beautiful and don't even need it. That said I think too many girls seem to be sticking to the same look for every scene they do, they need to ring-the-chances more and have lots of looks, everything from a light fresh and sweet look, to a cheap whore type slutty look.

Porn was founded on the ideals of over-the-top sluttiness, loud fake orgasms, heavy make up and huge fake breasts, to take any of that away is to do the hard working men and women of the industry a disservice.
