I am a huge fan of Alaura Eden. I think she is one of the most attractive women of all time to do porn. But I think she was one of the most famous stars in the business to consistently turn out boring scenes. There are many reasons for this... but I think the most part is the male talent she chose to work with over her short career. I find in all the scenes I have of her she's usually working with no name guys that could never give her a good fucking on camera. I'm a firm believer that the male talent in the scene is actually the director. Erik Everhard and Tony T are prime examples of this. So why don't the females try to work with guys that will give them a good scene thus helping their career in the long run.
Alaura's best scene in my view was from Anal Trainer with Manuel. That's her one and only great scene. And most of that had to do with 2 things. 1. no 10 inch tall clown like stilettos which allowed her to actually be able to move around and 2. she was being active cause Manuel was forcing her to move around and not let her just lay there. The rest from her career have the only merit of the fact that she's so hot and her face and body alone are jerk off material.
I wish during her career she chose to work with better guys.
Taylor Rain and Amy Reid are 2 I also find usually turn in scenes that have the only relative value of just how hot they look in the scene. But the sex itself is usually boring and uninspired unless they're doing some "extreme" act like taking an internal cum shot or something. Sometime online I will see a picture of Amy Reid and be like "oh my god she's so hot" then I will rent a dvd or something and then be like "she's hot but this scene sucks" this has happened several times with her. She just can't turn out a good scene.
Alisha Klass was another one that was extremely hot and very motivated but beyond her looks and the actual extreme acts (at the time) that she was doing... I found most of her scenes to be quite boring on repeat watches.
As much as I love Taylor Rain about 80% of her scenes are deletable. She always seemed to work with so so talent, I have only seen her do one scene with EE And towards the end of her gonzo career she did a lot of her last gonzo scenes with ... uughhh John Strong so that says a lot right there.
If you notice I think many will say that Taylor's best scene is with Nacho Vidal and the only watchable scenes I have seen with Amy Reid are her ones with EE and although he seemed to work his ass off in those scenes I just think it's hard to get any emotion out of her, for some reason I just didn't think any of them were that great. She's another one two that needs to tone it down on the 10 inch clown stilettos.
I'm all over the place with this....

Does anyone agree that the above girls mentioned haven't turned out work that's really all that great?
Are there are other workers that you think are SO DAMN HOT but usually turn out boring scenes?
Why do really famous Female Performers choose to work with males that don't make them look good on camera?
What is it with the clown stilettos on some of these women? Yuck!
Are most female performers just after a cheque or do some of them actually care how the scene will turn out afterwords.
I mean if you're on this forum, you have to be aware of who fans don't like. I wonder why you would still choose to work with them?
for example my all time scene casting would be Taylor Rain or Bobbi Starr in a MMF DAP with Erik Everhard and Tony T. You can't loose there.. but with my luck they switch out one of the guys for say.. Bret Rockman, or god forbid there's a scene that John Strong isn't in then that would be an instant taint on the scene for me and I wouldn't care about it anymore.
Are performers aware of things like that when they're about to work with certain people?
