No. That wouldn't work. Taylor's character, Helena, doesn't give a shit about Rocco's character, Antonio, in the film at all really. The whole crutch of the plot is that Helena is to seduce world famous designer Antonio and use him to further the company that she and Jesse (Bella Donna) started. Once she's done they'll just toss him aside. Everything pretty much goes as planned except for Jesse's treachery. From a strict motivational standpoint, the only other person Helena cares about beside herself is Jesse. If she would be chasing anyone it would be Jesse and probably not to win her back but to strike revenge for the unexpected double cross at the end of the film.

From a storyline standpoint, there's just not much more to say. And from a sexual standpoint, well it's been a while since that came out. In that time, Rocco has announced his impending retirement, Bella has quit guys on camera and is currently about to become a mother, and Taylor has hovered on the extreme outskirts of the whole industry for around 2 years now as well as quitting boy/girl. When it was made, it was pretty much right place right time for everyone involved. And regardless of how brilliant and talented a director John Stagliano is, without those three people it ain't the same film.

If it involved Taylor St. Claire I'd be interested. But I know it won't and on top of that it just doesn't make sense for it to ever happen period.

I'm just waiting for Buttman to release another feature.

IF there was a sequel, and that's a huge IF, it would revolve around Belladonna and Rocco, and most likely bring in some competition from another designer or company.

But Kelly is right about one thing - everything just fell right for this one, and it's pretty rare to get that kind of situation twice.

It had occurred to me that a sequel would actually be doable if you just dropped Helena and had Jesse and Antonio as the main characters. But porn features are no different from mainstream films: sequels are almost never a good idea, with the occassional exception. And the absolute perfect replacement for [invalid URL removed]Taylor St. Claire's presence and Caroline Pierce's presence would have to come along which doesn't seem likely.

This film was very much so lightning in a bottle. I could explain why Taylor was the only choice for Helena and Bella and Rocco the same for Jesse and Antonio but I don't really think I need to. It just isn't likely to luck into that situation again.

The way I see it the first film on the horizon that has a chance to surpass "The Fashionistas" is the feature that Tricia mentioned John will be doing in early 2005. Nothing released since that film has come close to it and there's no real indication that anything will.

Some of those Wicked Pictures features are actually pretty good but they hold way too much back in the sex department and that's something that probably won't change with them. It seems only John can really deliver a feature that is as much gonzo as feature.

Yeah. I know. I think you overestimate "most of porn" though. That's pretty harsh though I know enough to know why you would say that. It takes a whole fucking lot for someone in porn to completley burn all bridges possible. And I mean A LOT. How the fuck do you explain Rob Black and Lizzy Borden still being in business?

I digress. It's all a moot point. She did "Fashionistas". She was hot. People liked her performance. She won many awards. And as it stands right now that was the high note she chose to go out on. I'll just leave it at that. Good luck to her on whatever she does in the future and good luck to John on this 2005 feature and upcoming Fashionistas dance show. Actually, I don't even think I need to wish John good luck because we all know whatever he does will be really good.

Stagliano was already shooting great feature movies before he became Buttman, I wish those movies would be released on DVD also so everybody could see them again. I'm talking about movies like The Legend of Reggie D, Salsa Break, Shadow Dancers and The Blonde among others.
