I'm a black male that likes porn starlets of ALL colors. One thing that I've noticed is a disturbing trend where alot of the black female performers seem to have let themselves go and packed on the pounds. Maybe this has something to do with the rise of the BBW themed movies, but it's kind of disturbing...people in all walks of life gain weight...but in a business where your looks determine your worth, you'd think that some of these women wouldn't concede to the BBW/BIG ASS themed films. Now there are some sexy women that are thick....but when the ass starts looking like cottage cheese in a thong...c'mon! What are some of your thoughts?

Cottage cheese ain't a girl's best friend. Some women carry the weight better than others. Morbid obesity is not a good place for any person to be, if they are under 40, they are risking an early death.

Such is life. As people get older, it tends to get tougher to keep weight off or down. Women especially, since their weight seems to distribute differently then men. 10 or 20 additional pounds on a woman may distribute differently. Maybe unfair, but it is what it is.
Some people simply work-out more and/or eat differently then others, plus every pornstar isn't exactly treated equally or paid the same. I'm guessing not all pornstars have disposable income, and making ends meet might be tougher for some than others. I think its just how life generally tends to work for some, maybe even most people.
Porn can be, or tends to be, divided into several different genres and especially niches. There really isn't a lot of general crossover within them, IMHO. So those more on the fringes may find their phone ringing less if they start to drift too far outside their normal bread and butter. Again, everything isn't equal though, so some may feel the effects more than others.

I think your comments should be applied equally to men in the business, i've seen some hot men that let themselves go but yet it's no big deal, i guess because the focus is on the woman, but if you're in an industry where looks seem to be a major factor, i think men/women should do all that they can to preserve their looks, just like in mainstream acting, if you let yourself go, you don't work . . .

Have you guys seen Carmella Bing? First time I saw a current picture of her, I thought it was photo shopped. She gained alot of weight and is doing BBW scenes now.

@ RIVEGAUCE1999: I agree....some of the men need to be held to a standard too. Again, I like THICK....Carmella Bing is cool.....but it's just shocking when I see something on the internet or a scene of SKYY BLACK or SINNAMON, or JANET JACME and I'm like "wowzers"!
