While I'm not speaking for Jack, he's already answered that question before when he said he won't ask questions that will put the girl on the spot. IE the hot topic of doing or not doing I/R. I'm the same way, granted, I've only done a half dozen or so interviews, but since I'm sitting at the same table as the girls, I'm not trying to be Morely Safer and play gotcha. Bottom line it's a rude question to ask anyone, porn or otherwise, and I'm not going to bring it up unless they bring it up first, and they haven't yet.

^It's been argued multiple times that a performer doing IR, doing TS, getting implants, getting a tattoo, getting plastic surgery or drastically altering her looks are all things that can affect her career and over time some of them have proven to be pretty accurate for most performers. There are some exceptions but they are rare. Now if you were a performer and you heard that doing IR porn or doing TS porn could affect your chances of getting more offers than wouldn't you err on the side of caution and not do it. Even those performers who have gotten implants, plastic surgery done TS or IR porn early on in their career without any visible effect on their career aren't a good measuring stick because some of them can be part of that rare group of performer who can do no wrong in the eyes of their fan. Let's be honest. No matter how much we, on this thread, love TS with female porn. The fact remains that it's a fringe fetish with a fairly small following. How many major porn companies produce TS porn on a regular basis? The only names that come to mind are Kink and Evil Angel. That's it that's all and a bigger percentage of their content is dedicated to TS with men and not TS with women. If I want to be even more critical than Kink seems to be the only major studio to update with barely more than two videos per month. That basically means that there are approximately 30 or so shoots per year that involve a TS with a woman so for that reason I don't expect to see too much push to get more women to do them.

^If you think about it than you will realise why TS are a taboo group in the hetero side of the industry. It's not uncommon for some male performers to work or have worked in both the hetero and gay side of the industry. I'm not going to name names but some huge performers started on that side of the industry and not just as a top. These men will sometime wind up on the no list of some performers for that reason so why wouldn't a group of performers that primarily work with gay performers not be a taboo group to be avoided.
^^ Is gay sex taboo? It's an attitude problem that shouldn't exist. I can't see any reason why it's taboo to work with, or name, or discuss someone who happens to have engaged previously in a sexual genre that I don't personally share. The problem surely lies with those that regard it as unacceptable.
I was definitely thinking of Peter when I wrote that. There are some current active male performer that have done some gay or trans porn but I won't name them.
Gay sex isn't taboo anymore than gay porn is. What is a taboo subject is male performers that have or still work in both the gay porn industry as well as the hetero porn industry.. I assume you know why that is a huge problem in the era of bareback porn.

Actually I don't! I did choose my words badly admittedly, but bareback sex is a regular feature of both gay and straight porn. Even if acting with a gay man or ts is regarded as taboo, how can the subject itself be taboo? That implies we can't talk about it except in secret or something, and stars apparently feel they can't. I find that an unacceptable situation and, if true, really sad. If we could have an open debate, with stars and hopefully agents, we may be able to break the taboo, if that's indeed what it is. I wonder if Captain Jack could find a way to interview an agent for some insight. If an explanation can be offered, we'd all be in a better position to discuss it. All we get at the moment is a brick wall. If we can't produce evidence of stars who's careers have been damaged, and we can definitely produce names of those who's careers have flourished, then how do we know it's not just a bias on the part of certain agents. Lastly, can someone with greater knowledge than me, say which agents are opposed to their stars doing ts, and which are OK with it? Great thread by the way. This sort of debate is why I signed up.
