What's wrong with asking questions like that? It's not illegal, it has not been asked a thousand times before, and if you don't like them, all you gotta do is not answering. As long as you don't ask a particular porn star but just "you adult film actresses" I don't think it's too personal. And hey, if you talk to a girl in real life you'll notice that a lot she talks about is not of bigger importance to humanity than how often she takes the trash out. But if you're honestly interested in that girl you'll listen to her every word and find it sweet. Not that I try to be contrarian whenever possible but I like to make use of the multiple angles function when I think a thread is biased. And sometimes I don't - don't want to be too predictable.
