What prompted this was seeing a new multi-color cover, and the added words "Chosen #1 Title of All Time! -- AVN." Well, I bought a copy and sure enough IT IS TRUE, IT IS TRUE!!! FINALLY, Caballero does something right. This is called the "Special Collector's Edition." It has an interactive menu, Dolby Digital sound, photo gallery, a collection of trailers for the other Blake movies they offer, and some other worthless stuff (read "advertising," but hey, you can't have everything). I haven't watched it all the way through, but so far, the whole movie is there (unlike their previous release which cut out much of the intro). The picture and sound are fabulous. | blake_fan Member Under the spell of my muse. 175 Posts 1/01 | Posted - Jul 20 2003 : 12:24PM BAD: Caballero once again demonstrates they do not entirely have a grasp on the "chapter technology." First, somewhere after the fifth sex scene and at the beginning of the sixth, the picture stalls for about three seconds, the chapter numbering begins over at 1, and the movie clock resets. I do not know if this is a layer change, because normally even during layer changes the chapter numbering and the clock do not reset! Second, if at anytime you try to FF at greater than 2X speed, the disc jumps to this major chapter break (for the lack of the proper word) described above. GOOD: Unlike their previous transfer -- the entire movie is on disc, and even with the above described "chapter break" the film plays continuously (as it should). The sound and picture quality are excellent (at least on my set-up). SUMMATION: This is the best you can expect from Caballero. And as long as I have the quality sound, the quality picture, the entire film, and the ability to watch it without interuption, I am not going to complain. MY OPINION: AVN is rarely right, but this time they were.
