Sites like Hotmail (yes I know it is a windows site) and MySpace come out all screwed up. Buttons misaligned images not there etc. At first I thought it was a MAC thing and then I opened those same sites in Safari and they worked fine. Anyone know of some extension or something I may be missing to make this happen? [Link] |

Searched for almost 5 hours through the Firefox forum yesterday and finally came up with a download that seemed to have fixed my problem. Apparently it had something to do with MS and other sites using "slashes" in there picture addresses. I don't pretend to understand it but I installed it and everything seems to work fine now. Firefox comes with an Import Wizard to transfer your bookmarks, go hereand follow the very easy instructions. It's more secure and has a lot of flexibility. With all the extensions and customizable features, you'll find firefox to be a huge improvement over IE. Plus, the learning curve is minimal, so you'll be surfing your porn in no time. Enjoy! My cursor just will not appear within the box to type any text. I noticed that there is a check-box available for these situations, but if checked one must manually format all the html as opposed to the normal "rich text" availability. Is there a plug-in that I am missing or what? [Link] |

I used to use the Mouse Gestures one, but I've kind of gotten away from it. [Link] |

But it still won't stop people from clicking before reading and other safe-surfing practices. Lee, your page display problems could be font size related too. Just something else to try. Then, get the "Open Link in IE" extension to Firefox so you can look at the occasional site (Empire's VOD service, for example) that only works in IE.
