There are a hella big crapful of DVDs priced at 19.49 at Adult Video Universe! Their web site stinks, though, and it's really hard to find anything if you go there directly. Head over to the "Deal Finder" (in the left frame) and search for deals of $10+ at Adult Video Universe. These are major DVDs, by Studio 2000, Atomic, Rad Video, Jet Set, even some Titan, etc.. Not all the titles by these studios are marked down to that price, but a truckload are, so head on over there and pick some up! If you search on a particular title, you will find it, but it will also be marked no longer available. I'm really bummed now. I was looking forward to those I wonder what happened? Because I placed a large order with them & it was my first order, they DID send me an email the next morning (9/26, 9:10am) requesting that I confirm that I am me and that I did indeed place the order - a good security precuation, at least. I confirmed that I had placed the order and thanked them for the attention. My credit card has been charged for the full amount of the order (I checked it online). When I checked back, 9 of the 10 items were marked "no longer available." The only one which they had and were going to ship was a DVD which I could obtain for a similar price at a half-dozen other stores. So, I canceled that item. This seems to me like a very big mistake for a store to make. I could see screwing up on one item, but on 9 out of 10. That's a pretty rotten average, if you ask me. The best authentic deal which I have found this month has been on the Gay Adult DVD Empire site, in which Kristen Bjorn and some Titan videos have been offered on sale. There is, also, a one-time use coupon offer until 30 September 2002, and one can obtain kickbacks from the Gay DVD Review site. I have bought from Gay Adult DVD Empire once before and was very satisfied with the transaction. This time I bought 3 Kristen Bjorn DVD's, and they were shipped yesterday, so I should be getting them soon. That's all for now. JR [Link] |

I always put the maximium backorder time as well or a hold for a complete order, and I try to buy in bulk when prices are low, with just one shipping fee or no shipping fee if possible. There's no sense in paying a lot of extra fees for needless extra shipping. Of course, with this order, I don't know if anything will ever be shipped or not. JR [Link] |

Will update all when they actually arrive. The general consensus is probably correct; this most likely was a pricing error on the part of the company. They have to be commended for following though and shipping the orders anyway. The only other real possibility is that they got an excellent special buy somewhere. JR [Link] |
