Later this summer, Command Video will release a brand new 4K restoration of Cecil Howard's film Firestorm (1984), starring Kay Parker, John Leslie, Tina Marie, Eric Edwards, Sharon Kane, Sharon Mitchell, Veronica Hart, and Joanna Storm. The Blu-Ray features a new audio commentary with Eric Edwards. Also, a new 4K restoration Howard's film Spitfire (1985) is also set for a late summer release. It stars Samantha Fox, Sharon Mitchell, Robert Kerman, John Leslie, Tigr, Joey Silvera, and Eric Edwards. The disc will feature a video interview with archivist, film historian and Vinegar Syndrome co-founder Joe Rubin. Rubin is an insightful, entertaining guy. I just listened to his interview with actress Kay Parker on the Vinegar Syndrome "Taboo" Blu-Ray and was impressed with the breadth of his knowledge. BRAVO to Command Video and Vinegar Syndrome for dusting off and polishing adult films, giving them a respect from a cultural, historical and artistic perspective that few people must have imagined they would ever get when they were playing in the XXX houses. This is fantastic news and hopefully a release date will be soon I can't wait I'm totally thrilled !!!! [Link]

That was the ultimate compliment because Hustler had some pretty harsh critiques they didn't pull any punches they would tell it like it is and a majority of the time they were usually right especially when it came to reviews of Adult Movies. Also it's great to see Cecil Howard (Ward Summers) and Chuck Vincent (Mark Ubell) in non sex roles as well there is an excellent video interview with lead actor Jeffrey Hurst. Do not hesitate to purchase Fantasex (1976) !!!! [Link]

Heavy Load is sourced from a 2K scan of the negative. Also on the release is Chuck Vincent's 1973 film Lecher, also sourced from a 2K scan of the negative. [Link]
