It is not for arguing who is black enough (in fact, nowhere on this site is that appropriate), it is not for arguing about whether interracial scenes are racist or not, it is for discussing first-time interracial scenes.

The forum in general probably doesn't have any working definition that would satisfy everyone. Especially now that the powers that be (AVN, XBIZ, IAFD) have eliminated the category altogether.

This thread specifically though, historically, has been about identifying scenes where a non-black girl has sex with a black guy for the first time on camera (and if he's light-skinned, or mixed-race that's ok too).

For example, no one has been posting in this thread about white girls who shoot for a Japanese company with a Japanese guy as their "first interracial scene", even though technically it is.

What is not welcome here is long debates about just how much sub-Saharan African DNA a person must have in order to "qualify" as black. Those kinds of purity tests are prejudicial by nature. If he's somewhat/mostly black, and identifies as such, we're going to take his word for it. We're not going to start debates about Rachel Dolezal here.

I'm sure there will sometimes be a question in someone's mind about whether a particular male performer that someone has worked with is black or not. But here's what you (or anyone) can do about it if someone posts about a scene with your favourite porn girl with a guy you're not sure is black: ignore the post, move on, and don't shit all over the thread and ruin it for everyone else.

If someone is posting in this thread that a girl shot with Mr Jones, they're likely doing so because in their minds, that's significant, or an improvement on who she's shot with previously, or whatever. They're not posting the info to troll you. So you don't think it counts? Fine. Wait for her next scene with a guy who is more black than he is. Don't shit on the people who are looking forward to the scene.

Also, no one is looking to "defend" performers who don't perform with black people here. That is a discussion completely outside the realm of this thread. But even if they were, the entire concept of criticizing girls for not doing IR is problematic, for a whole host of reasons, but I'll list just one: some girls are under contract with a particular agent who won't allow them to do IR. They've signed a multi-year contract with the biggest agency in the biz, and he decides when they get to do an IR scene, and if they try to break their contract with him he sues them for all they're worth, and blacklists them. So they either shoot scenes with white guys only, or they never work in porn again (and get ruined financially). So in that case (and that exact, specific case actually applies to hundreds upon hundreds of girls throughout the years) what would you have them do? And what good does it do to call them out on not doing IR? I could see calling out their agency, sure. And we should. But throwing shade on the specific girls? And that's just the one agency we know about because things have gone public with lawsuits etc. You know damn well they're not the only agency doing it.

So, what do you want to have happen here?

What won't happen is what I assume you want, which is:

a. No one posts about scenes with Alex Jones in this thread

There are new people coming to ADT every month, so even if you were able to convince everyone here currently that he is not black enough to belong in this thread (which you would never be able to do), next month a bunch of new people would join up who haven't been convinced yet.

So instead, what's going to happen is one of these scenarios:

b. Someone posts about a scene with Alex Jones and then a debate starts about whether he's black enough (which WILL happen, every single time) and it gets heated enough that a few people find themselves deactivated for being nasty to each other
c. Someone posts about a scene with Alex Jones and the people who don't think it qualifies ignore it and life goes on
