This is the first time Im ordering dvds. Just ordered a couple of movies from Action DVD. They state that they will give you a confirmation email in a few minutes or so and I still haven't received one. Should I be worried??? I placed the order a few hours ago...

Just wait a day or so. I'm sure they will let you know when they ship your stuff but if not, contact them and ask about the status of your order. If you do, be sure to include the names of the titles and the order number so they can look up your info. Best of luck!

Are they reliable though???

Never ordered dvds before so not sure. Heard some good things from them though....

Does it usually take this long for a confirmation email though????

Many times confirmation emails will end up in spam folders at Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo, etc.

I've ordered from Action DVD with no problem.
In fact I had a movie with a bad transfer called Bikini Beach. I returned it and they sent a replacement in a timely manner.

(The second DVD was flawed also--but that was not Action's fault--I kept the DVD because I liked the movie.)

Thanks for the responses guys..

Should the confirmation email be taking this long to come through??? On the site it says my order is "pending".

I made the order at about 12 this morning. Its 9pm right now. Should I have received an email already???

Should I call them or what? Like I said before, first time I've ordered so a bit nervous right now.

You should have received the confirmation email within minutes of placing the order if you paid with a valid credit card.

Did you check your AOL spam folder?

I have ordered from them many times and have always received my confirmation within minutes. I agree with the others - check your spam folder, or depending on what email service you use, it might have been deleted. You can check your account online at Action-DVD and it will show you the status of your order. I have never had a problem with them.

Not with action dvd, but with another store I had it say pending because I transposed 2 numbers when I was entering my cc info. Once I called & they updated the number, the order was approved & shipped the next bus. day.

Also, were the dvds you ordered in stock? I have seen the stock status of many of their dvds to be 2 weeks. Not that the time frame is bad, they just seem to not keep a lot of inventory on hand.
